We dropped too many but it's a combination of all sorts of factors

Packers absolutely blew it but the Bears were excellent as well

I reckon Chicago can go on with it now ... at home vs Eagles or the Rams next week

They just have to bring the 2nd half form that they displayed today

I thought Caleb Williams was very good today as well ... especially in crunch time

As for the Packers, it's highly unlikely that we would have got past Seattle next week anyway

Still, it stings to lose like that

in a tight game you can point to numerous moments but that missed extra point was crucial

the 2nd half bears will be tough to beat. they can't afford a repeat of their first half for the rest of the play offs. they can't keep relying on second half comebacks. eventually they will come undone.

I agree, but the Bears probably needed a playoff win to sort out where they are at

They'll know what their best is, but they would probably learn more from that first half today

To be honest, it just looked a bit too easy for the Packers in the first half today (waltzing the ball into the end zone)

The Bears came out after half time totally focussed and totally motivated. A different team

And the Packers couldn't deal with it

I went for a bush walk at half time, and just caught up, horrible second half by packers.

Bears D were good second half, and here I was thinking st half time we had avoided Seattle without relying on San Fran.

It was certainty a horrible half by the Packers but that's how we've played all season (against good teams that have stepped it up)

Apart from that, we tied with Dallas, lost at home to the Panthers and lost at Cleveland. So we're not that good, but the Bears made us look good

Until Chicago decided to play like they can! But they'll need to play 4 quarters against either the Eagles or Rams

Either way I can’t see us winning unless our secondary suddenly learns how to defend again. Got to stop all the penalties too.

It can either way, depending on which Bears team turns up

But if the Bears start like they did against the Packers then the Rams (or the Eagles) will put them away

But if the Bears start well, they can beat the Rams or the Eagles. They'll gain a lot from today's win

I mean I think we have a better shot at Chicago than Seattle but I’m not sure I can hope the niners win without vomiting everywhere…

Chicago D was very impressive 2nd half. Packers melted down on those last few series. I don't know why because they were fairly steady for the first half with execution but all of a sudden it was botched snaps, missed field goals, delay of game penalites (possibly the crowd) and fumble city.

It's a shame for LaFleur going into the contract talks. I think he's one of the better coaches in the league personally, but it throws some brain candy into the mix now.

Grats to the Bears in their win. I'm not super sold on Williams being the stud yet. Way too inaccurate today for a talented passer. Got the W and another comeback through so a very good traits to have.

As we saw with many teams especially the Pats, D win games by turning teams over and field position.

Bears, Seahawks cover their good QBs by taking the pressure off them, then they don't have to be an elite QB. Imagine if Allen has Seattle's D, I mean Bills D is good but Seattle is next level. But we will find out next week if Darnold can handle the pressure. Williams didn't early but steadied when the D got stops.

Any bias aside, both the games today were fantastic entertainment. But you have to be a fan of the sport. It's not a tune in once-a-year scenario

The sport is just so unpredictable. One area that increases the unpredictability is the ball being punched out of a receiver/RB grasp.

Seems to be a lot more prevalent these days and of course, once that happens, all hell breaks lose in the chaos
