Week 15 already!  2 points on offer in the comp and there are more than a few road teams with a chance of winning (which includes 2 or 3 standouts chances)  Could be a trap game in amongst them though.  Good luck!

No way Lamar misses out on MVP now.

Pats  Seahawks  Eagles

First half couldn’t tackle to save our lives and Goff is still the highest paid overated QB in the history of the game.

We have a new leader in the tipping comp - JV7 has regained the leader (Schillaci always did have that extra kick nearing the finish line!)

Next week we play for 1 point and in week 17 we play for 3 points.  All active participants are in a position to win outright or tie for the win ... we don't have a tie-break to decide the winner.  Thus,  there can be multiple winners.

The tallyboard is the closest that I can ever remember too.

As for today's games the highlight might have been the Bills winning and therefore setting up a showdown with the Pats next week with the AFC East title up for grabs.  All over for the Rams you'd imagine (unless they win their last 2 with the Vikings losing their last 2) whilst next week's Dallas/Eagles game will almost certainly decide that division as well.

All the big guns secured victory in week 15 except for the costly loss by the 49ers.  Still,  if the 49ers win their last 2 they'll win the NFC West.  But a trip to Seattle awaits (Week 17)  It's all happening!

We're playing for 1 point only this week with 3 points up for grabs in Week 17

Super game. 49ers have given us so much fun to watch this year.

No they haven’t. They were more fun to watch when 2&14 at seasons end.  ?

Was good to get the win but we’re a bit of a way off challenging for honours. D-line couldn’t touch Goff and that is the 1 Wood. Sets up a great contest in Seattle next week but I don’t love the chances, happy to be back in the playoffs.

  • PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

With both sides precariously positioned ahead of the run home to the finals, only one team involved in Sunday’s clash at the Adelaide Oval between the Power and the Demons will remain a contender when it’s over.  On current form, that one team has to be Melbourne which narrowly missed out on defeating the competition’s power house Collingwood on King's Birthday and also recently overpowered both 2024 Grand Finalists. Conversely, Port Adelaide snapped out of a four-game losing streak with a win against the Giants in Canberra. Although they will be rejuvenated following that victory, their performances during that run of losses were sub par and resulted in some embarrassing blow out defeats.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • PREGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons are set to embark on a four-week road trip that takes them across the country, with two games in Adelaide and a clash on the Gold Coast, broken up by a mid-season bye. Next up is a meeting with the inconsistent Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
