Noticed Lake in the injury report. Thought he just came back from the elbow injury?

Good player. Helps to have a safety that plays the nickel well in that kind of defense so that doesn't help.

He did, last week was his second game, I'm hoping its just a niggle, we went to plop after he got injured week 11.

The fall out from the Bills/McDermott is really starting to play out in the media... grab the popcorn!

McCarthy is yesterdays man. bizarre appointment.

Patriots 1-6

Seattle 7-12

Tips, gentleman!

@layzie @Gorgoroth

I will say this, Rams have been getting some flak for only scrapping past the panthers then the bears, I’m hoping this gets the offence fired up.

I tip I’ll be a nervous wreck from about an hour before kick off…

Otherwise,

Pats 7-12

Rams 1-6

Good luck tomorrow, Gorg

You'll need to start well and have minimum errors throughout the game. Won't be easy with that crowd in full voice

I'd prefer if the Rams win, but have tipped Seattle

If the rams D can revert to what they were in weeks 1-11 that would be great 😂

Stiddy is looking good, Maye is looking like someone who is feeling every bit of pressure and more.

terrible 4th and 1 attempt by the broncos

take the points and back your D to hold the Pats

Romo made an excellent point. Orange is gonna be easier to see in these conditions, white doesn't help.

100% but Denver needs to find a run game. Going to be hard to pass the whole field

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, we’ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
