Wanted to wait to see how bad teams got screwed by Covid.

Watching the Rams, It’s 2 mins to half time, 10-0.

Missed FG, Stafford threw his standard pick 6 in the back 20, followed by his min one a game delay of game which then went to Beckham in a one on three which of course was intercepted.

Stafford is putrid. I’ve no confidence with him and you know, I like a lot of others talked about the Lions holding him back, well I reckon he held them back just as much as they did him.
McVay is calling a poor game, he has seen pick throwing numbers vs Ravens last few weeks and wants it as well, well the Ravens have most of their players back and we have only ran the ball 8 times.
Oh and after the first play of the game, Ramsey punched Rapp in the face so our D is loving each other too.

And after writing all that, Huntley throws a really bad ball which we intercept run it back to the 30, Kupp scores, allowed them to move the length of the field on the last 55 seconds with some bad decisions (Cover Mark andrews on a 2&19 FFS) and we start the 2nd half with the ball down 7-13

First set after the half, we run the ball upmost of the way, one big throw to Van Jefferson. In the red zone, go no running back, invites the blitz, and Stafford gets stripped sacked.
Why the [censored] McVay would have no RB in that area of the field has me baffled.

3 mins to go in the third,  and unless our D turns them over in the first few plays we are nigh on cooked.

Rams D comes up big when Ravens had it within the 5, kept it to a FG, 5 point lead to Ravens with 4:30 on the clock.

Time for McVay and Stafford to show they are up to the hype.

The last 2 minutes in Cincy 😲

Bengals beat chiefs! Titans now are number one seed in AFC, Bengals clinch their Div. Burrow limped off at the end.

Buccs win after falling 14 behind, Jets didn’t take the shot at a FG and a 7point lead and Brady takes it up and scores. AB threw his top into the crowd half way through the game and walked off the field. Crazy day!

Who wouldve thought this was going to be only the second most  bizarre thing from this mornings highlights,

very unusual to see two team mates scrapping. But no, then Antonio Brown goes and completely loses it,

at least coach Arians made a quick decisive call to jettison the noxious person that Brown is.

Bucs, Cardinals, Browns

If Cleveland get up you'll be the only one to gain points in the tipping comp this week ... up to equal 2nd on 9 points!

Good luck DZ!

As it stands, we're heading for a grandstand finish with at least 6 in with a chance of winning (or sharing the win)

And the tips can be put forward as late as possible!! (4.55am? haha)

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
