Your secondary might be banged up but the Eagles have still done a great job back there.

Against other teams we'd have racked up the score by now.

That was a nasty hit ... hope the bloke is alright.  Friendly fire this time

I was just about to say Rodgers has thrown for 400+ yards... To a wide open Secondary....

And then THAT happens.

Amazing.

Rodgers throws a pick at Lambeau.

Football is the winner.

There should be another name for that ... I see a 'Pick' as a throw to an opposition player

But luck plays a part in sport.  Eagles were the better team on the night though.  It's a game of inches and we've had our fair share of luck over the years

If the Packers had a decent running game we'd have probably won ... more so at Lambeau though.  At Philadelphia it's tougher.

Oh and congrats on 300 pages for the thread.

He's got another 4 goes at it from close range. Can the Eagles double-up?  If so,  you deserve to win

Given what happened to Maddox, have to agree.

That's a massive win. Feels like 3 wins in one. Packers at home and playing well, Rodgers 400+ yards, 2 goal line stands with a D that was hurting and playing average... 2-2 becomes 1-3... Absolutely massive. Had that pencilled in as a loss... Mind you had Detroit as a win... so what do I know.

Yeah there should. Why throw slants at that position in the field?

Yeah agree on run game. That was the real difference. Rodgers shaded Wentz a bit, but not by a lot... The difference really was the run game of both sides compared to each other (as opposed to compared to run D).

300!!!! Fitting it's you and me ticking it over.

Packers have shown me enough to say that we can contend.  Eagles too

The NFC is up for grabs

Meanwhile over in the AFC the Pats can stay there.  Stay away from our conference!

Yeah. Says a lot when your Pats supporting mates message you laughing at how bad your team is even when they put 34 up against Packers at Lambeau.

Having another look... Packers D is properly legit this year. That's a helluva thing to do against them.

I still have a sneaky feeling Chiefs will threaten in a big way... But yeah. Pats historic. Apparently first team in Superbowl era to not allow an offensive TD through three games.

Jeez. Weird week. Most Dlanders off to a flyer in the tipping though. I don't reckon I got 3 weeks right through the whole season last year.

Dallas lose... no points for me. Somehow I don't mind.

It's been a good round for a comp based on tipping away wins. You could have just about used the dartboard this week & got away with it.

Well Goff gave up more horrendous INT’s (gotta be nearly as many as last year.)

Coach Dungy said, they know if you pressure Goff, and he is no good.

Wonderkid McVay gotta come up with a new plan, no running game, Gurley looks half the player he was and a QB that is failing in the red zone big time.

Seahawks this Thur.

Personally this NFL season is going as well as the Dees season..  I hate sport, might have to take up  hobbie that doesn't build me up to constantly [censored] me off ?

Dont back us, we will lose this 17-31

You'd probably get 100-1 on that exact scoreline!

What's the bet it comes off? (100-1 of course)

Vikings, Bears, Pats

Bugger...though a very enjoyable game for a neutral today.

Here is my thoughts as I watched the game.

Qtr 1

Still no 1st qtr TDs, Goff is missing easy passes, takes great field position and does very little with it, throws into double coverage all too often.

Lockets TD catch was epic, we dominate and they take the lead. Gurley looks good

Qtr 2

Goff is still poo early, Our secondary think more of covering spare grass than players down the field. Peters shouldn’t get a contract next year. Use that money elsewhere. O-line is needed.

Kupp is a star. Gurley is stripped after Goff finally looks good.

Seattle hit Goff low, huge mistake as Goff fires a bullet to Kupp.

We get ball to start 2nd half. Game on. Gotta stop the big plays, secondary needs to get on their game.

Donald is the best player in the league bar none. I would pick him if I was starting a team over every other player.

Qtr 3.

Love the start, get it to the TE’s who have been ignored due to WR and Gurley, then Gurley paaaaaaayounded it in from the 8yrd line.

Goff throws behind Woods when we are on our 2 yard line. Still don’t like him with pressure, he should and needs to hit that pass, he was not under that much pressure. He just plain pooped his pantaloons again. then next play he nearly throws a pick after taking Waaaaaay too long. 3 and out.

Yup. Peters is overrated. Gives up way too much and if Phillips can’t make him elite, he will stay full of potential and good moments .

Qtr 4.

Good hold by the D early.

Goff throws a great pass to Cooks, got us out of a 3 and out.

So many penalties against us and each there and most bloody stupid. Just killed a first down. 3&13 now.

What a throw to get over that 3rd down!

Challenge of Woods was close. Unfortunately prob right call.

So many missed tackles especially in the backfield. Should have had at least two more sacks, and 3 or more loss of yards on Carson. (Who has been immense)

RTP CD Matthews is a [censored] disgrace.

Absolute bloody terrible decision.

How the hell is Carson alone in the end zone???

Great defending by Peters on the 2.

Still fuming on the Matthews call! Fuming!

Goff stains his pants again and throws a pick after missing two other throws.

Wilson throws it back to Lockett for a big loss. Doesn’t even give them a chance for a 4th down go.

Goff should have been picked again. 2nd and inches and he throws. Bad call. Pound it.

False start... urrrgggghhh kills you.

Don’t know what our penalties are at but it would be big yards.

Great block from Gurley.

Massive throw and grab for Everett

Heart is pounding!

Delay of game... what the hell!

Gain of 9

Enter Zuerlien...

No good. By inches.

Shattered.

The Matthews penalty cost us the lead and Goff couldn’t get it back.

Cooks getting injured seem to hurt us late as they stayed more with Kupp and Woods.

[censored] I hate Seattle.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
