What are you saying !?...You would want to be in a room for 69 days with 33 blokes ?

Each to their own WYL.

I'd prefer the beer myself.

A late friend of mine used to say "It's too high off the ground to eat grass and it's got to be fed"

I think he would take a rain check on the beer

Yes i know, but i could never pass up beer after 69 days-who could??

Apparently there's a guy down there who has a wife and mistress (both with kids) up top waiting for him

He has opted to stay down there (has put a request in for a big plasma screen)

OOPS!! Both women have been standing there together grinding their teeth for 3 months waiting......Yep i would want Foxtel with all the channels, and some reserve light globes!!!

Perhaps we could our list down a mine for a few weeks as part of their pre season. Might be good for team bonding.

On second thoughts, it may be better for Collingwood to send their players down a mine for the entire pre season. Might keep them out of trouble.

Now you're talking!!

Not sure if you guys know about this, I found it hysterical when someone told me.

Apparently when they first got trapped, some of the miners wives came to the spot and their mistresses showed up as well. Some of the wives found out who they were there for LOL

such bad luck

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
