Second quarter of the Casey game today, and Grimes has pulled his hamstring again. You'd think unless we go deep into finals, that will be his year.

LOL! Poor Grimesy. Can't take a trick that bloke! It's laughable because it's just so unlucky for the poor guy.

I think he kind of does one every year doesn't he? I've noticed he's lost a yard or two since those days...

He is ok.

As reported by KC from Casey in the Casey thread... Grimes was on the bench for all of the 2nd quarter after trainers worked on his hamstrings.

He is not ok...

KC from casey also stated he doesnt know one way or the other, could be a precaution

Cmon guys, can we get the facts right here?

As far as I would gather if 'they', the trainers spent a qtr working on his hammy then he most likely has not done the hammy again, otherwise why would they bother working on it? It would be iced and he would be done.

Either way.... it looks like his hammy's are still fragile - won't be seeing him again this year one could say.

Grimes in tracksuit, definitely favouring a leg.

Big turn out of players. Trenners, chip, petterd, judy, spence, tapscott, gawn and mckenzie. Plus coach and tim Harrington

If of interest spoke to garland who said Bruce will go to hodge and gawn said his knee will be fine, pulled up well

Have a decent pre-season, Grimesy... and bring on 2011 mate!!

If it helps any, my source is a pretty damn good one... But in his words he said Grimes had "re-done" his hamstring. Take from that what you will, be it a strain or a pull blown tear... who knows?

Done for the year.

Hoping for a strong recovery so he can put in a full preseason.

:(

What a joke. Poor kid spends 6 weeks on the sidelines then pulls is again straight away.

This news both sucks and blows.

Jack may be right to play in China in October.

So is anything in this thread correct?

I like to think Demonlanders get it right more often than the HUN, who on the Casey/Bullants reports: Melbourne-listed Cale Morton pressed his claims for a recall to the Demons, while Jack Grimes got through his return game unscathed.

The HUN got it terribly wrong.

HA!

I was at the game on Saturday and spoke to Jack, he said he 'tweaked' the hammy and it was 'better' if he sat the rest of the game out.

Interesting. My apologies if I got this one wrong.

It's pretty bad news, but I wouldn't say Grimesy relies on his pace.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
