3 years of pure, unadulterated rubbish, but at least we got some reward for it.

This year we get nothing, absolutely nothing, for being embarrassingly pathetic against a team that has been nothing short of terrible this season.

Is it really worth the (lack of) effort to tank for the No.4 pick?

BRUCE MUST GO!! He is ruining and otherwise (usually) capable back line, would rather Cheney.

Can someone let me know when we take the field- they're just showing Adelaide training on Foxtel at the moment

Well I've turned that shite off, wasted half an afternoon, not going to waste another.

For those who were saying they are young etc

Age has nothing to do with trying.

As for who is our next captain..... pray Jnr can play for another 5 years cos we are rudderless out there without him.

We are a laughing stock today on a stand alone Sunday game. Pathetic.

we arent even chasing, manning up nothing!

It's bloody hard watching Scully grab the ball, weave out of traffic and pin point a perfect pass to our premier leading forward in Bate, and then watch the ball go straight through his hands and bounce off his head.

Looks like we've saved Richmond, West Coast and Adelaide from the ignominy of the spoon.

Must drop ,Bartram,Bruce,Rivers,Miller,Mckenzie,Jetta,Jones.

Bring in, Mc Donald,Sylvia,Jurrah,Wona,Gysberts,Cheney,Bennell

Will Bailey survive this season? God I hope not, we can do better, much better.

He's already signed up for next year, great move huh? Especially by a club that can't afford to ditch a coach mid-contract...

I think I'll start the rough draft for the three words about every player vs Adelaide.

Bruce - PLEASE PLEASE RETIRE

That's all I got so far

pies were correct, last week was our grannie

pathetic so far

Geez could have done with someone who can use the ball (Gysberts), someone who doesn't always turn the ball over out of defence (out: Bruce, in: Cheney), someone with some dash who can kick goals (Bennell)... our selection committee have not got it right for weeks

Adelaide must be cackling like evil madmen in the box, when they see us use Bruce as a linkman out of defense.

The age old debate of To Jamar Alone or Not To Jamar Alone shall resume this week. Can't wait for Paul Johnson next week

Thank god for Grimes. He is the only thing keeping me from ripping the TV off the wall and throwing it out the window.

What rubbish- had 7 possessions in the first quarter and was just cactus- hopeless, your judgement is definately not like mine. Hopeless short kicks into dangerland.Pathetic performance by the club. The whole lot of them should hang their heads.Bruce is finished-too slow- game has caught up with him-should retire NOW.

I dunno, I think Bruce has been one of Adelaide's best...

This is pretty terrible atm. Rubbish midfield, no hunger, too slow. Again slow start with too many handballs and weak tackling. All the things we say we needed to improve on we have failed in

Not good. These performances should be behind us.

Am not impressed with effort, skill level or anything about our performance to be honest, but at the same time, I think some of you are getting a little carried away. Just last game you would have been singing our praises, a little perspective required.

Can we be a little bit more shit in the second half please? How about a few more turnovers? Don't think I've seen quite enough overusing it or passing it straight to the opposition. There's also been far too much going hard at the ball, perhaps a few more instances in the middle where we've got three blokes, none of them go for the ball and the opposition runs off with it uncontested? Just a few more mistackles would be good too. That'd be great. I don't think we're being humiliated quite enough yet.

[its mainly our intensity and desire thats not up to AFL standard.

Somethings wrong when you can only lift when you play a Collingwood/Bulldogs.

Those comments about its our Grand final when we play them hurt, because maybe they are true!

Truth hurts.

Bring back Alistair Nicholson. After all, we haven't won a game at AAMI Stadium since he retired.

Seriously, I love you Melbourne, but get f'ed with this AAMI Stadium garbage. It's a ground, it has grass, and goal posts, and a centre circle. The bogans are off putting, sure, but they never seem to bother you when we play at the MCG against Collingwood.

Garland been good, Frawley on Dangerfield but could've chopped out others a couple of times, Bate has been great...as for the rest SHOCKING, AWFUL, HORRIBLE!!

Not switched on, not hard enough at the ball...how many times do we have to watch 3 crows go in desperation for a loose ball while the dees all stand back and watch and wait to lay tackles that the crows players slip out of every time.

Turnovers!! What are some of thoughts with the kicking guys??? Kicking to contests, at team mates feet when they are 10 mtrs clear, hittng crows on the chest......

Losing is one thing, having young kids is one thing, whatever the excuses how about just applying pressure, getting in for the ball and hitting a few targets.

Another game over before the oven can even warm my pie!! :(

Very disappointing Demons.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
