I'm not sure where carlton sit overall though....I mean they have had great wins against geelong and st.kilda but that seems about it....

cant wait to see one of our young blokes run with and possible outdo judd! maybe wishful thinking though :)

One step ahead of you Rollo.

Placed a lazy "sum" on the Dees at $3.66 - And through Deesbet.com.au!

(Also a sneaky $20 on Port over Hawks @ $3.16)

i have a heap of bets against my carlton mates tomorrow ($20 a piece)

Judd to get <29.5 touches

Gysberts to get >19.5 touches

Watts to get >13.5 touches

dees to win 2 or more quarters at 2:1

dees to win with +20.5

dees to kick the first goal

bennell+jetta+1.5 to kick more goals than betts+garlett (hopefully bennell doesn't play in defence)

carlton not to kick 7 goals in a quater

Edited by volders

I've done a combo bet ---> Dees at 3.15, Cats at 1.11 and Hawks at 1.36, $4.75 all up and I chucked a lobster on it... hopefully bring back $95...

Won $80 in Darwin when I tipped the Dogs to beat Roos, Essendon to beat the Toigs and Dees to beat Port, what a night!

Almost won $140 from the Pies game... bloody Petterd... jks

Yep, have woken up feeling like this is our day.

I've got us straight out into Cats by 25+ and Freo by 16+.

C'mon Dees.

just joined deesbet dont get paid till thursday, might have to bet $10 a week on some games.

if i was to bet today id go for first score melbourne goal.

we need the start we had against port .

cant wait to be at the game -5.5 hrs to go FIRE UP BOYS!!!!

$15 combo bet - St. Kilda over Richmond, Melbourne over Carlton and Adelaide over Fremantle.

Besides us causing an upset, that's having a tonne of faith in the boys doing it for Tyson Edwards. Not sure how much McLeod will lift, but for your sake I hope the others do.

Hope you have a 2nd farm.

It looked good on paper but we were absolute shizen today. At least going by this thread you weren't the only one to fork it over.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
