Season Review

Obviously take it with a grain of salt but its interesting to see an outsider's perspective.

May indicate who other clubs could target in trades, etc.

Of course this was delivered by none other than Brain Taylor himself.

Named the untouchables as:

- Jack Watts

- Jack Grimes

- James McDonald

- Brock McLean

- Aaron Davey

- Matthew Bate

- Cale Morton

and the trade bait as:

- Brad Miller

- Colin Sylvia

- Michael Newton

- Paul Johnson

Going Going GONE:

- obvious retirees that are now common knowledge

- Daniel Bell

Mind you, that mental giant Shane Crawford followed with Richmond and nominated their trade bait as Tambling and Cotchin. The mind boggles.

Also interesting to note from this season is that:

Cale Morton lead the club in marks,

Aaron Davey lead the club in tackles,

40 players were used off the list with 10 debutants and;

Davey was the only player to play all matches this season.

It is nice that outsiders think Johnson, Miller and Newton actually have trade value.

Sylvia's name always comes up but he isn't going anywhere (I hope).

As much as I think Colin Sylvia still has a lot of improvement left and has not quite proven himself YET, You would have to say he would be an untouchable? We have to commit to the list at some point.

i was thinking the same thing.. we might get pick 98 for PJ, Newton and Miller?

i think sylvia was mentioned just because he has shown some form and has some value now.. doesnt mean we are looking to trade.. but if a massive deal was offered they might consider!
