Shame on demons supporters...

I am currently travelling overseas, and wouldn't even know where to begin when it comes to putting video on the net of MFC players strutting their stuff.

Youtube is my only recourse usually, as I'm a mac owner, and can't view the international replays of games.

If the Freo game last year was exciting enough to warrant two videos, SURELY there's some die-hards out there that can put up some of Liam's better highlights. There's about half a dozen I can think of that deserve to be shown.

Anyone?

Think Michael Jordan.

Yeah but macs are cool, so you don't need to see youtube footage.

I just turn it round and stare longingly at the apple symbol all pretty and lit up.

But seriously, does anyone know of any regular websites (not AFL sanctioned, PC-only ones) that have LJ videos?

I'll see what I can do in the next few days.

That'd be great. I'd be in your debt.

I've put together Jurrah highlights from the west coast, port adelaide, geelong and sydney games, but the fan in my computers power supply shat itself this week so I can't get on long enough to upload it, hopefully this'll be fixed tomorrow, Sunday at the latest.

But some nice highlights are on the way.

You really are a marvellous human being DA.

You're a gentleman and a scholar DA.

And don't be shy with these videos. They'll be appreciated by all and sundry... even if they have the word "Greates" in them.

I've fixed the fan, but now I'm going to punch my computer in the nuts...

I converted and combined all 4 different games highlights, even uploaded it to youtube, but the conversion totally mangled it all, left bits out, screwed the audio...

So... I'll just upload each game separately instead of one ten minute video.

Here is the West Coast game

The file converting is still chopping bits out unfortunately as you will see before the Sylvia goal, but I know what the problem is and will upload the rest on Monday (in the correct aspect ratio too!). Sorry about the delay.

thanks mate for putting in all the hard work...love the vid...can't wait to see the new one

That was fantastic DA, mind you it did nothing for my insomnia, watching the link ups between Col and Flash as well as the Wizard tackling marking and finishing completely woke me up!!!

Fantastic mate, well done!

Great to see decent Melbourne highlights, every other team seems to have it for every game! Thanks for that

Thanks again DA.

Thanks.

As DaveyJones said, the Port Adelaide game is here

- it's a good'un.

I'll put the Geelong and Sydney games up in the next few days, still having a few computer issues (it's the first computer ever invented).

Enjoy.

its up!!!

THANKS DEESTROY

Was this the round he got his rising star nod? He has got one hasn't he?

EDIT: I just did my own research and yes it was, Round 15. Such a good game :D

Great work DA! Awesome.

Great work Deestroy, Geez that's exciting.

A few things i noticed from the videos; Jurrah looked like he was absolutley stuffed in some of those videos (WC game), which I take to mean that he will benefit greatly from a preseason and some extra fitness and strength.

He has the softest hands in the AFL, and his field kicking and decision making kicking into the 50 are just as good if not better than his marking and kicking for goal.

Also Bate looked impressive in a couple of instances, he is just getting to that size that he can break tackles and use his body.

A bit of luck with some injuries and we have 10-12 years of this kind of exciting football to come.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
