Just heard that Robbo might be a late in, named as an emerg. Got some pretty good mail.

That's Great even if he only played 5-10 mins each Quarter.

2-3 Goals from Robbo might Spark the rest of the forward line..Crumbing is vital on a wet day.

it was on 10's news

lol, honestly didnt hear it on the news, makes me look like a bit of a fool.

Stand by for the lotto numbers!!

I wouldn't read too much into it... I doubt they wanted a ruckman who can't play any other position as one of the listed emergencies, if one of our KPP doesn't come up, Spencer isn't really bringing alot to the table... Hence they name Robbo...

Can't honestly see Robbo pulling the boots on for us this week....

Next week is a sure thing.... Maric is a better choice for this week....

Maric to kick 4 in 60% game time....

Checked AFL website, Robbo Maric and Cheney are the emergencies this week.

Bails mentioned to was very tempting to include him but should be even more ready against the Cats.

Can`t wait for Robbo to come back. Hope he doesn`t break down again.

I kinda hope he doesn't play. I think we should be going with the kids. While Robbo's been a handy forward he lacks in ability to apply defensive pressure. Seems to spend a lot of time falling down. At his age he won't figure in our next finals tilt. Retire him with dignity at years end.

Weather won't suit his comeback this week.

Keep him for another day.

Personally, I'm fascinated by what might happen next with Robbo.

I've had the pleasure of watching him closely at training a couple of times, and based on that (obviously inconclusive but very tantalising) evidence I have a couple of thoughts -

Firstly, his body shape is definately considerably changed, and the talk of his skin folds being at their lowest ever is more than credible.

He was faster than I expected.

He can definately still leap.

He has an expression, a demeanor that I haven't seen before. And I wouldn't comment except it was so consistent each time I was observing him.

I reckon he didn't like the '2008 Robbo', and has a real craving for match-winning, finals-delivering, Princes Park farewell ruining 'Robbo 05'.

I reckon he'll be looking to turn a few matches yet.

Robbo selected this week.

My son watched Casey v Dolphins last week. Said Robbo still has defensive deficiences.

Robbo was brilliant at contested pack marks. Once ball hit the ground, Robbo stagnant. Game does not allow for this these days.

If we are working on this theory we can leave out Bate & Newton aswell. Robbo will bring others into the game aswell as freeing up others to play in more preferred positions.

I'm rapt to see Robbo back.................he's a club legend, provides a spark and excitement when he plays, and has fought back from a damn serious injury that could have ended his career.

Good luck Robbo...........footy's a much better game to watch with players like you back on the park!

Who cares. I'm glad he's replacing that joke of a footballer who can't kick goals from 5 mtrs out.

Should've played seniors last week IMO.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
