edit: Malthouse appears to be overpaid a little in terms of results. No wonder he wants to stay...

I think DB will be moving up the list when he negotiates his next contract... I would imagine he will be pushing 500k the next time he puts pen to paper.... Results/Improvement in the list will guarantee this IMHO

I have no problem with that response. It's lazy journalism and a nothing question. For guys who get paid to be good with words and language, and who are meant to be fairly clued up on how football works, the journos at those press conferences can and often do ask rubbishy questions that anyone could have asked.

Not that I'm a fan of Malthouse in general.
