Some of you guys are taking this way too seriously. I was home with some friends and i had this site open from the arvo. I saw mates writing comments that would have been very offensive however i stopped them before hand. Instead i wrote something that was yes a hoax but a joke. Ban me if you must but was just having a bit of fun and the fact that 2 other people (patti and watts), bartlett on in the morning not arvo made it obvious it was a hoax. Im sure people on here have done hoxes too. i have seen them before posted by other members. I appoligise for what i did and arnt we all glad grimes is ok! :)

If you want to joke about injured players, make a hoax about Jared Rivers getting playstation thumb and missing weeks, or dig up Nick Smith again for a laugh. That will do me for this thread, i'm out.

Do you think you should be banned, Occo? If so, then how long for?

I dont see whats wrong with a joke so i dont think i should be. People need to relax. I made a hoax that wasn't hurtful or offensive. And now everyone is happy knowing it was a hoax, i have brightened up peoples day

You're a few hours too late with that pathetic response.

I suppose you have never had a hangover!

Showing that you have no idea what you have done wrong further highlights why you should be banned from this site. There is nothing wrong with opinion or rumour but posting something as fact when you know it is false cannot be allowed.

I accept you have the IQ of a brick. However, I'd still permanently ban you.

Banned for 12 months, effective immediately. Patti and Watts 1019 deleted, IP address noted and will be checked in future.

This board is for the enjoyment of all Melbourne supporters and it's purpose is to provide a place where those passionate about the Demons can discuss the club. It is also an important source of information for many people who rely on it for up to date information.

Knowingly posting false information will result in a 12 month ban.

Thanks.

I get the feeling you enjoy your role. :D

We would rather not have to use our moderating powers at all and rather, have our boards open to comment by all. We don't mind the occasional piece of good natured kidding around if done in good humour but what was done by Occo stepped over the boundary. What made it worse was the lack of remorse shown, a factor which served to make the penalty far more severe than that which would have otherwise applied.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
