I know we are debating who we would take as the no.1 pick in the draft and although this is pure hypothetical if we didn't win against the dogs we would of had the first two picks which way would we have gone?

Natanui and Watt

Natanui and Rich

Rich and Watt

Hurley and Watt

You can tell I'm bored but I would have gone with the first Natanui and Watt

Much different scenario to being able to pick just one...if we could go back in time I'd suggest one KPF and one midfielder, so Watt & Rich, looking to pick up Warnock in the PSD.

...and if we hadn't sacked Norm Smith....

B)

I am reading his biography at the moment. His son in the books foreward said that Norm was more upset about having been voted down by members when he wanted to join the MFC Committee in 1967 than having been sacked as Coach in 1965. Interesting.

considering your last question i would take the kpp forward, then the mid then the ruck in that order.

however, having watched the vids of NN i could be very easily swayed.

out of interest, this year we have the lowest number of insider 50's of any team but one of the best conversion rates (ie goals per inside 50 is high) (please someone correct me if im wrong on this, i just remember reading it somewhere).

this suggests to me that we need most, is more inside 50s, which means an elite midfielder could be the better option.

one of the keys here is making sure that the pass inside 50 goes into space to the advantage of the forward, whether small or tall. if the delivery is good, you only need one inside 50 per goal :D

if we hadn't lost about 4 games when we were leading with 5 minutes to go in the last qtr we wouldv had 8 wins.

time to get over it.

btw we beat the bulldogs by 10 goals. its not like it was a 1 pt vicotry which we couldv purposely tanked in the last qtr

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
