When will this loser accept that he is not up to it and step down? Everything he touches turns to soft brown mush with a 20 minute justification speech.

Leave the game alone you idiot!

Dead set oxygen thief.

nuff said.

I accidently tuned in to AW last night to hear Healy and Russell (?) interviewing some guy. I worked out that indeed it was Mr Fixit himself. Fair dinkum, he sounds like someone's grandfather, actually I thought he was someone's granpa.

Anderson is a Lawyer - so why would you expect the truth to come from his mouth! Like all Lawyers he is there for himself and no-one else.

He has got no idea of the game of football and the sooners he racks off, the better.

I heard that interview and at one stage I think Pipe made a reference to the name Mr Fixit and said something about changing a vowel? 2nd letter u?

Is Anderson Responsable for putting the Umpires in coloured clothes and Baseball caps??? Bring Back the "Mad Scientist" Lab coats and white hats for at least the Goal Umpires you stupid little Bastard. Our game keeps losing character. In 10 years time nobody will remember you Anderson

He fits in well with most people in the public eye in Melbourne that have power; they make changes that are out of touch with society and make absolutely no sense, ala. Mr. Brumby ala. 2am lockout laws.

Apparently Vlad, and i think Ando, are going to the opening ceremony of the Olympic games in favour of being present at the Melbourne Grammar v Scotch and Melbourne v Geelong 150th birthday matches. What a disgrace.

Hijack OUR 150th, and then would rather go to the opening ceremony than support their own sport. Unprofessional aside from all the rest

Vlad & Mike Fitzpatrick are going to Beijing - AA will be sulking at home cause he didn't get an invite. FWIW I know people who work inside AFL House and they hate him with a passion too. The only reason Vlad appointed him is he didn't want someone directly below him that was good enough to take his post, I'd say he's proven his judgement to be pretty spot on there. I think the only person who likes him is in his mirror!

A mates email response to the time keeping article:

As Adrian Anderson would say " what you have to ask yourself is was the

clock actually stopped...because by definition a clock should not be

stopped but in fact keeping the time. Therefore was it actually a "clock"

in the true legal definition and should the AFL be responsible under common

law if time actually stands still on it's own. Having said that we will

stand down the volunteers who do this function and commence a comprehensive

review about whether time did actually stand still, and if clocks by

definition can still be called a clock if they are in fact not performing

the intended function of a clock...in the true legal sense of the word"

I heard the AFL is considering a range of procedural changes including

implementing a series of post-it notes whereby the umpire will scribe on a

post-it note precisely the time that he has stopped play, relay this via a

4th, 5th and 6th umpire on the field. Each of the field umpires will have a

shadow Time Umpire, in a different strip to make sure players don't confuse

the Field umpires with the Time Umpires, who's only function will be to

record the time and duration of the stoppage on the post it note, then hand

it to 7th, 8th, and 9th official who will be barcoded, photographed, and ID

checked before exiting the ground via a special interchange scanning

facility up the race to official time keepers, who in return will scribe on

another post-it note back to the umpire verifying the correct stoppage is

recorded.

Any mistakes whether intentional or otherwise will be reviewed by a special

match review tribunal where offenders will be awarded a series of demerit

points based on the severity, previous history of volunteer work, quality

of handwriting on the post-it notes, and impact whether potential or

realised on the outcome of the game. For example the time keepers error on

Queens birthday did impact the result therefore he will be awarded 43.5

demerit points that will carry over for the next infringement. Where as the

error in the Sydney West Coast game, despite not actually influencing the

result, the tribunal would find that it potentially it could have and

providing the offender did not have any prior convictions for crimes

against humanity he or she may get away with 8-10 seasons without time

keeping voluntarily.

The AFL confirmed they think this is the best way to ensure consistency in

their treatment of volunteer time keepers.

The AFL went on to say that they fully support Adrian Anderson and

believe his measures are for the betterment of the game.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
