  1. I was expecting him to turn up with George in a little tux!,
  2. 2021= flag 2022= straight sets 2023= straight sets Yze and Richo have been in the box and Goody on the boundary, we will now have to bring in a different person to fill this all important role or Chaplin/Richo moves into that role. I totally agree but that’s a massive gamble to have a newbie in the seat with Goody on the bench. I might be over thinking it….
  3. It was interesting to hear him say (paraphrasing) “at my last two clubs, I was in the drivers seat during game day”. That’s really concerning that Goodwin is on the bench and another coach is running the game, while he has pep talks with the players. As much as I hate the bloke, there is no way Chris Scott would do that, you can see him and the other coaches changing their style throughout the game from the box.
  4. Interesting that he’s the only one posting….
  5. We also need to address the kick ins and the total lack of offensive options, it’s either: 1) long bomb to Gawn to the left 2) short kick to the boundary to Salem/Bowey to the left 3)the clearly telegraphed long bomb to the square to Gawn
  6. I’m all for some new forwards, but the game plan will need to be tweaked, it amazes me how hard we have to work for a single goal, then the opposition gets two easy ones out the back (against our biggest weapon our defence). I could count on one hand the amount of easy goals we got in the second half of the season. I don’t think we got one out the back in the finals, Pickett, Chandler all have speed, we must push back so hard to cover defence that we lose that options, which means we lose finals by single digits…..
  7. The cop outs to top all cop outs. If that has seriously come from within the football department, they should be sent a please explain, moved on from their position. That has made me more angry then losing the game on Friday night!!!
  8. Not bad trolling from a 40 year old virgin….
  9. There were about 6 players who were more concerned about helping their knocked out mate, then flying the flag. They had their priorities right. Viney, May, Oliver, Petracca, Pickett, Sparrow, are all hard nuts
  10. I’d like to add the “method” of kicking it into the forward 50, Viney, Oliver, Trac, Hunter, Langdon all just bombed it long and high 30-40 m out from goal all night. To have 30 more inside 50’s, we only needed 7 more points. it would be hard work being a forward with our delivery, we have been saying the same for the past 2.5 years but nothing has changed and we have lost personnel. Still seething from last night sorry
  11. It’s bad enough seeing Collingwood win, Carlton is right up there, I had to turn it off, I was waiting for Cripps to thank the boys in yellow for getting them over the line tonight….
  12. He was groggy on his feet walking off the ground, that ain’t ribs!
  13. The bull [censored] free kicks in Carlton’s favour, from the umpires (AFL) need to stop next week. The critical calls against Sydney and the non calls for Sydney was laughable.
  14. Heartbreaking footage, great win by the boys but that has overshadowed the performance. Hoping for the best but fearing the worst for poor Jake.
  15. The Gawn/Grundy experiment doesn’t work, Jacko was more mobile and could trouble the scorers, JVR needs to second ruck with another forward option for the remainder of the season unfortunately.
  16. Cripps teared the 4th qtr apart, he won them the game in the first 5 minutes of the 4th qtr. why was t Petracca and Kozzie out in the ball in the 4th? Carlton deserved the win, the were first at the ball, to have Paddy Dow dominate in the middle is a wake up call to our midfield.
  17. Agree but we didn’t put them away on the scoreboard and the media played it off as Pies lost not the demons won. Blues and now hawks have put them away! It was great watching Fly look uncomfortable on the bench!
  18. Sister in law lives in Osaka and brought me a couple of bottles of Suntory old whiskey over, $19 in their supermarkets, it’s absolute mothers milk! Highly recommend
  19. Kicking 18 behinds we didn’t, it will be an absolute fairytale if they drop into a hole and lose games and go out in straight sets
  20. Vossy has figured out the pies, bring the physicality and they turn their toes up. Imagine Viney, Trac, Oliver, Sparrow watching that….
  21. It was one game, let’s not get a head of ourselves just yet….
  22. I was at the lights outside the Gabba last week, Zorko and Rayner and some others were waiting at the lights right next to me, I put the passenger side window down and said “Hey Zorko, keep Pettys mothers name out your [censored] mouth” he told to jam it but the other boys loved it.
  23. Morningside my young fella plays for mate.
  24. I’m off to U/8’s in Lions heartland this morning, wearing my demons jumper…. I cannot wait for the comments
