  1. Just got home from the ground, was a cracking game live, we owned them at the start of each quarter and the suns in the end of each quarter. Agree with everyone, Petty needs to stay back, was ineffective forward. we aren’t playing our best and still winning ✅ GC can’t play any better then that ✅ 4 points ✅ have a great night everyone, I need a scotch after that game….
  2. A mate is staying at the Sofitel in Broadbeach, the demons are staying their also, he was in the Spa with Viney, Van Rooyen and two other demons he didn’t know 🤦‍♂️ (bandwagon Lions supporter). Viney mentioned to him that the suns at home was the Demons hardest away game last year. They should be on ready to go!
  3. Glass half empty kind of person yeah? 🤣 Don’t you dare come up for the Olympics!…. There’s a tad more to do then the above mate, 8 months of the year it’s an amazing place to live, stay away during summer
  4. What they’re saying at Nerang Broadbeach Road, doesn’t have the same ring to it 🤣
  5. I’m heading down the M1 for the game, I’m also taking my 7 year old to his first AFL game, I certainly hope we’re switch on at the first bounce, the game at the Gabba wasn’t a great outing for Demons supporters (especially those that cracked the [censored] and left when the lights went out……)
  6. Hahaha what?!? They lost by a point in a preliminary final. They’re the team to beat this year (as much as I hate to say it) they’re the bench mark and had Melbourne’s measure for years. you need a quick, fit well drilled team to match them.
  7. Are we going into games too tall? Brisbane and Essendon went into the game with 3-5 talls and ran in waves with smaller quicker players. can we continue to play Gawn, Grundy, Roo, May, Petty (forward) options BBB or TMac. tigers hunted us last night, brought the pressure and run which we’re currently struggling with.
  8. LJ is the poster boy on Kayo for this game 🤷🏼‍♂️
  9. We all need to continue to comment on how well Peter Bell is doing at Fremantle, we need to change the negative narrative in the media, the guy is doing absolute wonders for the MFC. To a long and successful partnership with Freo 🍻🍻🍻
  10. They never come off the multis
  11. I hate to say it but the pies look good, their pressure to cause turnovers and the run they generate from it is [censored] scary, they should be up by 60
  12. Clearly spends more time at the hairdressers then working on his craft, he’s a 6”6 giraffe
  13. The long bombs tonight from the first two was cringe worthy. A lot of our players were just bombing it to no one, the slick ball movement was left on the plane. Was Melbourne 2019 tonight with a star studded team.
  14. I was there live tonight, our midfield was soft and didn’t work clearly hard enough. Petracca and Oliver were poor, Viney was horrendous. The midfield is to blame tonight unfortunately
  15. I’ll be there flying the flag for the Mighty Dee’s. I’ll be fascinated at the crowd number, with the broncos vs Dolphins being playing up the road (is a sell out), a lot of people choose the Broncs over Lions.
  16. I’m still amazed that this jive turkey is on AFL360, when Chief replaced him when he was ill, it was an absolute joy to watch, Gerard the host and the expert commentator from Chief. Must be a hell of a lot of Winnie Blue smokers out there sending in love letters to Foxfooty to keep him relevant.
  17. I really hope big Grundy is printing these out and putting them up somewhere visible daily to really motivate a massive 2023. See below from ex-coach and ordinary person Nathan Buckley: “Say Grundy is on $900,000, they have to pay $300,000 and Melbourne pay $600,000. And then you bring McStay in for around $600,000. That means the salary cap doesn’t shift. “I thought there was going to have to be some give from a salary cap perspective. Now, there may be a little bit of give especially in the future, but in terms of the attributes and the strengths each of those players bring to the table – McStay, I believe, will help, as good as Grundy is, McStay’s attributes and strengths will feed into Collingwood’s needs greater than Brodie Grundy would have in the next five years. I hope Grundy is sitting at home thinking:
  18. With so much to lose and so little to gain, I have no idea why these athletes do it in public, do whatever you want in the privacy of your own home. as Shaq said: “I do drink, but not in public because I can’t do nothing to jeopardize my mother’s empire..so If I’m at the house I’ll drink, but I’m not going to drink at a restaurant and jump in a car and then..cos my father always used to tell me, if you mess the money up, your mama ain’t going to have no house, if you mess the money up, your mama ain’t going to eat.“ With how much Shaq’s worth, I doubt his Mama will go without a meal.
  19. I think Richo isn’t letting the truth get in the way of a good yarn here: “So, what was that? Is it fitness? Is it mindset? Is it opposition? Or all of the above? Although [it was] not fitness. We are still running really hard. There were a few competition-wide markers that were strong proof that we were still a hard-running team. It was a bit more about attitude and opposition. Teams were taking things away from us.” in 2021 we would steamroll teams in the second half, 2022 we were running up hill in the second half, sounds like we were a bit banged up also. You could see it live and on T.V., we had no run or dare. were we fit? Probably yes, were we premiership fit? Clearly not.
  20. You’re looking at the wrong line of defence then, up the ground defence made our backline worse, front of centre defence last season compared to our premiership year was stark. Pressure up forward, slows the ball down and creates rushed high kicks. We need the 2021 hunger for defence in 2023.
  21. The hashtag unicorn and now this, their social media department is certainly creative……
  22. Maybe that’s why they have signed Melky to a one year contract 😉
  23. When He said “big club” I thought
  24. Our only hope is to extract blood from Jack Viney and hope the aggression and intensity of JV takes over Josh, like the Seinfeld episode below….. You’ve got 3 pints of Kramer in you buddy!
  25. All I heard was “cannot wait to get stuck into it” a thousand times over. You could tell he was overwhelmed by the questions. Super disappointed he left, I think he’ll struggle under the expectations/ scrutiny.
