We really missed him today, he’s been outstanding this year!. Hoping they caught it early and it’s only 2 week break.

We were too tall down there today, how forward pressure was terrible. The problem with BBB is that he gets goals but doesn’t defend. Once they got TMAC down back we looked to much better. To me that is the issue, You couldn’t possibly have BBB, Weid and Gawn/Jackson forward. One always need to be on the bench with our small pressure players chasing/applying pressure. Melk and Baker need to go, baker runs hard but his kicking into 50 and missed tackles were second rate.

Was really strange seeing Tommy Mac kicking some laser kicks out of the backline today, he did very well down there today, I’d like to see him stay in there until Petty over takes him.

A lot of our stars had a shocker today, Gawn, Trac, Oliver, Lever and May weren’t their usual selves, especially in the first half. Forward pressure looked off with the inclusion of BBB. Once Tom Mac went back it seemed to work better. Our 2019 draft stood up today, I was really impressed with Kozzie, Jacko and Riv. Fritsch was the difference. no way Fritsch gets suspended, high, low impact $1000 find. Geez we never make it easy for our fans to we. A first half to review and forget. 7-0 go Dee’s

It’s always special beating the cats, there isn’t a team I hate more, hate them, their coach and captain. a few things I loved today that haven’t been mentioned: leg speed - long gone is the slow Melbourne team, we’re seriously fast now, loving it Rivers - the amount of times I saw him busting is [censored] to get back in defence today was outstanding, he has some serious wheels Kozzie - just love him, but a few times today (him and Fritsch) that he hesitated going for the ball, I cannot wait until he just takes it upon himself and grabs it, love the ball in his hands. Lever, Langdon, Hunt, Salam I haven’t seen play better games for the Dee’s. Melksham was quiet, it would be hard playing a rubbish VFL practice match and then Turing up to play the cats, hoping he gets another run next week and contributes like we all want him too (2018 model please)

I get where you’re coming from, my big concern is we’re a middle of the run team currently with quality depth issues in our squad, taking a top 5 player out of our team currently is a major concern, I have zero faith in the organisation that he would be covered. After watching Issac Smith on Saturday, he is exactly what we needed, we missed out on him and didn’t have another option. The thing I love about Oliver is he always cracks in, never goes missing and is always available, that’s incredibly hard to replace, especially in a team like ours.

Oliver is helping us win games, do yourself a favour, go to a game live and just watch him work his craft, he takes the best tagged each week which allows our other midfielders some freedom. You do not let 23 year old AA walk out of the club for some draft picks, you add talent around Oliver. it’s concerning how much you overrate this bloke.

The players you have listed, all four would struggle to complete Oliver’s stats in one game. we cannot let him walk out the door, he has a norm smith written all over him! (If we ever bloody get there....)
