I’d like to add the “method” of kicking it into the forward 50, Viney, Oliver, Trac, Hunter, Langdon all just bombed it long and high 30-40 m out from goal all night. To have 30 more inside 50’s, we only needed 7 more points. it would be hard work being a forward with our delivery, we have been saying the same for the past 2.5 years but nothing has changed and we have lost personnel. I have a question for someone a whole lot smarter then me: 1) why do we always do these two things kicking out, we either bomb to max to the left of the field straight away, or kick it 90 degrees left to the boundary, then bomb it to max? Go back and have a look at the goals, he wasn’t individual beaten by Rohan, Geelong play for each other and create blocks and space for their fellow forwards to get good clean looks.
