  6. How’s Sparrow going?
  7. You’re only as good as your last game and in Melbourne’s case, the team didn’t score a goal until the third quarter of that game. How on earth could you be complacent with that at the back of your mind?
  8. Yeah. He looked more focused on the training track on Saturday morning than he did for most of the second half of the season last year. Perhaps he got a rocket at his exit interview or came to the realization himself after the season ended that if he doesn’t lift his game in 2019, it will be the end for him.
  9. According to Satyr on the thread for Saturday’s training session - “Walker has unfortunately gone under the knife for a shoulder issue, should be back next week”. He is already starting well behind the 8 ball so with shoulder surgery, it’s going to be hard for him.

    Flight risk?
  11. Terry Wallace on NAB Trade Radio ~ "The thing I take out of this Fremantle situation is, if you're Jesse Hogan, do you want to go there in a year's time when you're out of contract? I don't think so now." ... and that’s why this is not beyond the bounds of possibility.

Now you can throw in Dom Tyson being hunted by North, possibly as part of a deal involving Preuss.

  15. Woke up under a bridge in Port Melbourne after a big night post game. Might try to find the ground and give the boys some support.
  16. Anyone think the pre match stuff presented by Hawthorn was utter crap? The compere’s performance was very ordinary compared with Robbo’s class.

Don’t you just love September when the bananas are ripe and nobody in the GWS team has a relative weighing over 200kg.
  22. He’s not telling Geelong anything but rather, what he perceived at the time which was the togetherness of one team and the cockiness of the other. Forget how many they have “played since us”. Think about how many each of them will play in the future.
