  1. Can’t handle Franklin or Papley.
  2. JUH is a star in the making, the kid can play.
  3. Really hope the Swans lose.
  4. This reminded me of a meme that was getting around in 2020 (from memory). There was a picture of a spaceship, it said…. We have received a message sir from the planet called earth. What does it say? It says Melbourne are rebuilding.
  5. Pies earlier in the season wanted to swap one game at the G for Marvel and Marvel to the G but we’re also denied.
  6. This from the club that had to off load an overpaid player and pick 7 last season.
  7. Yes they’re a good side but I still think they’re very beatable. There’s only 5 sides that can win it if you count the Cats, and Port and Collingwood play a style that troubles them. Back on topic Port like Collingwood have beaten up on the weaker sides, they beat the Cats and Suns by about 40 but then also like Collingwood have had a lot of wins by 10 points or less. Swans by 2 Dogs by 14 (gather rd and dogs for once on the end of some garbage umpiring) Saints by 7 Bombers by 5 Dees by 4 Tigers by 10 Bombers by 4 And yes winning form is good form and all but come finals and hopefully by then Oliver is firing at full capacity and Fritsch is back for his second game. I’m confident with our experience we can take them. During the year it was wet and we were smashed at the stoppages, yet in the 3rd we led by 17 at one stage. If we don’t let that happen again we’re a massive chance. Would rather them week 1 than 3.
  8. I’d rather Port myself.
  9. The marketing department is pumping up that the season is alive for so many teams but realistically we know that’s not the case. As much as a lot of people want the Suns to fold it will never happen IMO. Best case scenario is for North to fold and Tassie becomes the 18th team.
  10. Appreciate all the reports, being interstate I rely on these and look fwd to reading them.
  11. Hawks beat the Saints and Hawks. After tonight will be 3.5 games behind Carlton, I think they’re a massive chance come rd 23 as a win won’t affect their draft pick.
  12. Looking at how this season is playing out there is no way this competition can sustain further expansion. For the good of the game if Tassie is to get a side an existing team must fold.
  13. Did ANB have a pre workout drink before running out?
  14. Win the clearance. Low and direct kick. Open fwd line. A tall leads and mark. About bloody time.
  15. If Pies lose tonight they’ve lost to 3rd, 4th and 5th on the ladder. Speaks volumes. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Mason.
  16. I was happy when we returned to two tall defenders plus Lever and I also would rather Petty than Tomlinson but Petty wasn’t ready to play against Geelong, could of easily been brought in the week after. Yes to separation of our fwds.
  17. I sat back two weeks ago doing my ladder predictor and had us beating both Geelong and the Giants now I think we could struggle tomorrow night.
  18. So with a closed roof and being the main target is there any reason BBB won’t be dominating tonight?
  19. Incorrect disposal no longer a thing.
  20. Can’t wait for Franklin to leave the game. Just turned the game on 10 minutes ago and he’s gotten away with a blatant throw then appeals for deliberate out of bounds and gets it when there’s was nothing in it. Really hoping Tigers win.
  21. People keep throwing up this fact about Spargo but for whatever reason I don’t see him as that. The decision to play Brown last week was on par with dropping Tomlinson the week before.
  22. If fatigue was a factor surely it applies to both sides? But watching yesterdays game I’m not sure how anyone can think we’re physically fatigued.
  23. What is ANB’S role? When did BBB last take a contested mark at AFL level? He’s purely in the side to kick goals so unless he’s taking marks I can’t see him getting too many from general play. Come September if we get our act together we’re going to have to most probably beat both Port and Collingwood, they play a very fast paced game and I’m not sure he’s quick of physical enough. Happy to be proven wrong, he’ll obviously play this week but if he’s not taking marks he must go.
