Had a good feeling about this game after Trac had that angry look after chasing Darcy in the first quarter. Viney huge first half when the game needed a match winner. Fritsch is such a natural talent…f..k the media and Demonland son, play your game. Fun fact: Lobb & Taberner 0 goals 1 behinds. Weid 1 goal 0 behinds. Go the Demons!!! 🔴🔵

Crikey binman, you could’ve started this with “You might wanna grab yourself a beer” I concur though.

Yes. First time in my life we’ve entered a season as Premiers, the 100 to 7 we saw in the GF won’t be seen for another 100 years. Never like losing games, but loving the challenge at the same time. There’s 6 of us in this family and our four kids have never been prouder to wear the colours of the MFC. That’s good enough for me.

Well, this page doesn’t have the glow of the previous two.

Perhaps the gentleman that bet everything he owns on Jackson staying.

Could you discuss Spargo if you get time please? Reading the changes thread I’ve seen a few mention he should be omitted this week for a couple of reasons, low possessions and not hitting the scoreboard. I don’t think he should be omitted, from where I sat on Saturday night I witnessed him working tirelessly up and down the flanks to become an option. He was ignored a few times and a couple of those times were inside 50. Plus his kicking is elite going inside 50, some players have stated half forward is an extremely hard position to play.

Inexcusable defence by Essendon from that kick-out, just horrid.

Some game this is. Gotta love Aussie Rules

I say we go for Cox rather than Grundy when/if Jackson leaves.

Lol that one was as high as you can get on Ginnivan

No one to blame but ourselves. Some very costly errors and name someone that stood up to their desperation in the second half. Very disappointing to walk out of there with a loss.

Riewoldt motioned to him to stand still too…ouch!

Tigers are home at Marvel tonight. Last time they were the home team there Dimma wasn’t too pleased, the Tiger Army doesn’t like travelling over to Marvel. Looking forward to his post-match press conference should the Tigers lose. In other games I’d like to see the Suns upset the Lions.

Grain of salt and all that Luci, a relative plays golf regularly with Mitch Lewis's father. My relative was told us and the Bombers were very keen on Mitch and we did put something forward to him prior to Mitch extending beyond next year with the Hawks recently. He could be one.

The house news was broken on here Sunday night. Was that the intriguing news on 7Perth tonight?

Geelong now Essendon. Wouldn’t be surprised if a few other teams are asking the question. They’d be silly not to, Gus has been phenomenal the last two seasons and in two different positions.

Lose, not happy. Win, not happy. Bring in two first choice players, happy but not happy. I must be looking at the ladder upside down.

Oliver is back and Lever expected to play according to Goody.

Yes, Fritta has burnt teammates the last couple of weeks. I’m just wondering if Tom Papley has been given a nickname or copping regular bakes for ‘burning’ teammates. Papley literally pushes his own teammates out of the way when streaming toward goal and has missed more than his fair share ignoring better options.

Fair dinkum, it’s hard to please some people. Those who want to keep digging for negatives good luck to you, Mondays are always better with a win. No one said doing a repeat is easy, most should be happy we are at least giving ourselves a chance.

Centre of attention we are today. A few teams around the bottom and outside the 8 cheering for us, a few teams up the top hoping Port do the dirty. Such is the logjam, but the most important part is, let’s do this for ourselves and remind everyone why we are the reigning premiers. 🔴🔵
