Haha, this thread read a lot better back in October. Some claimed it was a done deal back then and an announcement was just around the corner. We do get some great mail on here, was really hoping this one was on the money back then.

ANB was the sacrificial lamb in 2020, still irks me he got 4 weeks for that tackle against the Crows. I like Stewart, but his act doesn’t deserve any less than ANB.

That’s ok, Hawks just need to regroup. They’ve been the better team just lacking some composure at crucial times which got the Dogs some cheapies. Can still win this. The fawning over the Dogs by the commentators is yuk.

Harmes. Was thrown into the middle early in the game to mind Neale and did a terrific job, but what I love most about him is his ability to keep getting back up after he gets smashed in contest after contest. Numerous times last night he got to the ball first only to be crunched heavily, it didn’t worry him. You just have to keep your eye on him at the ground to see the amount of work he puts in and he hits the scoreboard. His first goal City End with the left foot was an absolute gem and should have him in the running for Goal of the week was at a crucial time too.

He’s worth keeping simply for his celebrations, brilliant.
