  1. Not sure when the Misson report was posted but he stated Jetta had a tight glute last week against the Dogs. Went on to say they expect Jetta to play this week.
  2. Anothe Gus article. https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/angus-brayshaw-turns-around-a-career-in-jeopardy-from-concussions-into-a-rich-vein-of-form/news-story/997fa51ee958d28271f0afe65830879c Nice numbers from R6-R17 with 94% midfield time. Brayshaw has averaged 29 disposals per game, ranked 15th in the competition. He’s averaged 507 metres gained per game (ranked No. 9 in the AFL), six inside-50s (No. 6) and eight score involvements (No. 6) across those outings. Please be right Milkshake. Now all the Dees need is for the young gun — who is out of contract at the end of the year — to sign on. That said, it seems a matter of when, not if, that occurs. “I think that’s not too far away,” Melksham said.
  3. Doesn’t sound good. You think he’ll miss Earl?
  4. Bernie is an interesting one. He’s definitely slowing down but from Goody’s presser this morning it sounds like he’s keeping his spot this week. Goodwin: We were really pleased with Bernie Vince last week. He’s a winner and competes.
  5. Hannan for me. Give Trac more midfield time and let him be the grunt.
  6. What about Tom Nicholls from Gold Coast? I’ve seen him do some good things in the ruck but hasn’t played a game this year due to injuries. I believe he’s OOC this year.
  7. SEN reported James Sicily going in for scans for a suspected broken wrist. With McEvoy out this would be another huge blow for the Hawks.
  8. I thought the same but seems he’s stagnated a tad. I’m not aware of any major injury concern and I’m with you, an extension looking less likely now.
  9. Highly unlikely Balic will get a senior game with 6 weeks remaining. He looked ok early in a couple of VFL games that I saw. I noticed he didn’t play against Footscray last weekend. Question is, will he get another contract? Thoughts?
  10. Excellent....palpitations first thing in the morning after reading the title. We need another contract from Jesse after 2019. Make no mistake, he’s yet to hit his peak, his forward craft is elite, he’s often double teamed, his movements inside 50 make him extremely hard to match up on and to say we could do without him in the next few years is wrong. T Mac is a star but it’s both that make us potent. Anyway, thanks Boomer.
  11. If you’d like some Clarrie you can get $67 for the Brownlow. Interestingly, Jesse also at $67 for the Brownlow, seems a bit odd though.
  12. Very disappointed after reading this. Beyond comprehension really. So much for even reporting an itch, the medicos are even bigger fools if Jack informed them.
  13. No change for mine. We need a stable lineup as much as possible for the run home. I questioned the Hannan in for Viney but it makes sense to me now as Trac was allowed more midfield time and became the Viney replacement. Hannan has the ability to make something from nothing, I’d like to see him given one more opportunity down at the Cattery where we will need some craft around goals.
  14. We are 6-0 in games played on a Saturday this year. Happy to be given a red card if the zero changes this upcoming weekend.
  15. Port’s first loss in six weeks and boom.....out of the top 4.
  16. Sheesh, Robbie Gray out cold. That’s nasty.
  17. If he doesn’t win it, I suppose you will come on here and say “ I told you so, how right can one be”. You need to lighten up a tad.
  18. Wobbles big time. West Coast pressure immense.
  19. West Coast blowing some easy chances, Howe is no good one on one.
  20. They are saying knee for Nic Nat, doesn’t look good.
  21. Not a bad game at the moment. Nic Nat down in the rooms limping badly with some sort of leg issue. Lycett holding his own though against Brodie.
  22. Is Mckenna playing? A training reported stated he left training early on Wednesday due to hamstring soreness.
  23. Has a team at 4-12 ever had a percentage of just under 92%? We need to keep winning obviously but Brisbane might do some damage to teams hovering just above/ below us on the run home with the form they’re in. Crows, Cats, North, Pies and WCE still to play the Lions.
  24. The kick to spot ANB for a set shot early in the third was pure footy smarts. Most other players attempting that kick would’ve had their kick smothered. He deliberately kept the ball low avoiding two sets of Bulldog arms. Watching the replay last night I wasn’t surprised the commentators didn’t pick up on it.
  25. In the second half I noticed he spent a lot of time on the wing running with Honeychurch. Not sure if that was a defensive move by Goody but it looked like it.
