The scenes outside Air Canada Centre were awesome during the game this morning. Blue shirts everywhere. The game itself, bloody fantastic!!

Brendan McCartney - Moved to the bench
Not 100% sure but is that McCartney between Chaplin and Mahoney? Footage provided by @Lucifer's Hero a few days ago.

Only 10 more minutes and we can start the Game Day thread. Yippee!!!

A Day at the Races
I like it too, will run with it. When I joined this thread back in the spring it was on the back of Dan somewhat.

A Day at the Races
The Zephyr was never in the race. They were too nippy for him today. Iāve asked my mate why the drop back in distance but he hasnāt got back to me yet. Iām curious to see why trainers do that sometimes. Fellas, Iām really keen now on a name change. Showtime? Showtime Ted? The Showtime Skip?

A Day at the Races
70.45% Wadda. Youād be happy if your racehorse had a percentage like that.

A Day at the Races
Thanks for posting Macca. I heard after the race Trapeze Artist might head to the āThe Everestā. Anyone hear something similar?

A Day at the Races
How about āWhyTheLongFaceā ? Appropriate for both threads or too gloomy?

A Day at the Races
Ha āShowtimeā is good. Dan has won at 1000m before, I still havenāt heard from my mate with some mail. Personally Iām unsure with the drop back in distance. For now, i have something little each way on him. Iāll study the race a little closer to the jump and will do a small first 4 or tri also.

A Day at the Races
Lol, ā The Skipā. Iām easy fellas, we can keep the same order until we fail ( we wonāt though)or happy to go with majority. Yes, I have been thinking for a while to change my name on DL. Suggestions are welcome. Teddy was the nickname growing up.

NHL
Two great games back to back on TV this morning. Late drama in both with the Flyers and Avalanche keeping their respective series alive heading back home for game 6.

A Day at the Races
The DL trifecta works for the first time. What a battle that was down the straight. Very brave by Le Romain and we almost had a $10 winner in the tri. Showtime third by a nostril, phew.

A Day at the Races
Didnāt that rattle home Macca? Proved the last start win wasnāt a fluke. Nice odds for Seabrook, I thought Long Leaf was a winning chance but was stuck 3 wide the trip and had nothing left in the straight.

A Day at the Races
Lol, bolter alright.......maybe Trapeze Artist gets rolled and we still end up with the right combo. The former Japanese ( Satono Rasen) galloper creates some interest in the All Aged. Now with Waller and hasnāt won under 2000m.

A Day at the Races
Spot on Macca, I thought the horse would rail up and go whoosh, like the first two in Dothrakis race. Edit: I meant in the the Holy Snow Race.
-
A Day at the Races
Dothraki loomed as the winner but as the caller noted the horseās run stopped quickly. Plenty of racing left to make amends.

A Day at the Races
Winning selections are in so hereās the final piece of the puzzle. Selections for 2nd and 3rd: 8. Tom Melbourne 11. Showtime Hartnell was the other obvious choice but I couldnāt fit 3 into 2 and wanted to add some value, not that it would make much of a difference anyway. As @Macca stated previously, members can add extra runners if they choose to do so.

A Day at the Races
Itās on Sunday Wadda. Race 7 3.50pm. Iāve looked on a couple of sites for odds but theyāre not showing yet.

A Day at the Races
Youāre up around Ballarat? Iāll flick you the old owners pass to head down to the track and get the Zephyr over the line. I also like the Best Bests so far. Maybe, just maybe they will salute to lift the mood on Demonland this week.

One way traffic in the Penguins game yesterday. They should close it out at home in game 5. Leafs V Bruins about to start, looking forward to this one.

A Day at the Races
Ha Ha Macca, I thought this would be easier than trying to find a best bet. I have 4 horses down for the place at the moment, hoping binman picks one of them so Iām down to 3.

A Day at the Races
Best Bet: Randwick Race3 No.2 Dothraki Current odds: Tab $2.70 Ultra consistent gelding. Only one unplaced start in the last 5 and that was by only 3.9len. The dangers I came up with in the race are Burning Passion (3) and Bolero King (8). Dothraki beat both of them home last start carrying 59kg. He carried 2kg more than Burning Passion and 6kg more than Bolero King on that occasion. He meets them much better this week at the weights and for that reason I make him my top selection. Respect for the top weight also coming back from 2 Group 1ās. The Zephyr has accepted at Ballarat on Sunday. Race 7. Very surprised they would choose to run the horse at 1000m. I will have some mail by Sunday for those that would consider a buck or two on him. Remember, still on a 17 run losing streak. ??

NHL
Vegas Golden Knights sweep the LA Kings. The Golden Knights became the first NHL team to sweep a Stanley Cup playoff series in its inaugural season. Bravo!! The games were a lot closer than the series score suggests. Four 1 goal victories to the Knights. Caps get back one on Columbus to keep the series alive and it looks like the Wild are up against it going back to Winnipeg 3-1 down.
