  1. Good plan, I’m happy with that.
  2. Are we changing the order around this time @Macca or keeping the same? I let the team down last week?
  3. One of my favourites in Despatch ($11 TAB) taking on Nature Strip and Viridine. I am looking forward to this race.
  4. Great choices Macca. The Oaks appeal to me at the moment but will have a deeper look tomorrow. A lot of quality running around. Thanks for posting the track configurations.
  5. Been mentioned by a few posters elsewhere as an important signature going forward. Would he be our number 1 priority now? Sign him up: Oscar McDonald. The 22-year-old has taken his game to another level in 2018, flourishing after assuming the mantle as Melbourne's No.1 key defender. Stronger in one-on-one contests this season and more assured with the ball in his hand, McDonald has played the most game time of any player in the competition after six rounds. Shapes as a key member of the Demons' team over the next decade. Others of note: Angus Brayshaw, Dean Kent, Jake Melksham, Bernie Vince
  6. Keep up the good work Oscar. Made the Round 6 Team of the Week. http://m.melbournefc.com.au/news/2018-05-01/three-demons-in-r6-team-of-the-week.mobileapp
  7. Were you on Wadda? I knew I shouldn’t have started a game of scrabble with the kids.
  8. Not a bad run Wadda, spoke to my mate prior to the race and he basically said they will decide soon on his future. These “ not bad” runs are becoming all too familiar lately and probably best to come to a decision soon. Anyway, we carry on and look forward to Sha Tin tomorrow.
  9. Hmmm, definitely watching the Sunset. Loomed ominously at the top of the straight but didn’t find much. Even the half a million dollar colt (5) couldn’t get into the race. Come on the trifecta!!
  10. Well done @Wadda We Sing, awesome win by William Thomas. Super strong late!
  11. Hi all. My two to fill the placings. No.3 Duca Valentinois. No.11 Plaisir. Good luck all.
  12. Best Bet. Caulfield R6 No.1 Sunset Watch. TAB odds: $1.95 Apologies for the short odds gents, I’ve looked for the last few days and this horse came out on top. Tricky 2yr old set weights race but this colt is speedy and seems to hold his sprint well at the end. Two wins in a row and won well both times including one at the 1200m.
  13. The best distance for Dan has been at the 1400m. The case could be that tomorrow’s race was always in the plans. He was scratched a fortnight ago or so on the day and the reason for running him last week over the 1000m after his first up run of 1200m could simply be they just wanted to give the horse a “run”. That’s my unqualified opinion on it anyway.
  14. G’day Macca. All the races you listed at Hawkesbury have horses with high ratings, which is a guide i usually like to go by, but I feel the size of the field in the Hawkesbury Cup makes that particular race appealing for our trifecta special. As usual, happy with the majority of course. Dan Zephyr is back again. Caulfield R8 No.9. Over the 1400m this time. So this prep has gone 1200m - 1000m - 1400m. ? My mate has been busy lately, I would really like to hear his thoughts on this.
  15. The scenes outside Air Canada Centre were awesome during the game this morning. Blue shirts everywhere. The game itself, bloody fantastic!!
  16. Thank you and what about this....
  17. So Saty is “ On Track “ again with the below.
  18. Not 100% sure but is that McCartney between Chaplin and Mahoney? Footage provided by @Lucifer's Hero a few days ago.
  19. Only 10 more minutes and we can start the Game Day thread. Yippee!!!
  20. I like it too, will run with it. When I joined this thread back in the spring it was on the back of Dan somewhat.
  21. The Zephyr was never in the race. They were too nippy for him today. I’ve asked my mate why the drop back in distance but he hasn’t got back to me yet. I’m curious to see why trainers do that sometimes. Fellas, I’m really keen now on a name change. Showtime? Showtime Ted? The Showtime Skip?
  22. 70.45% Wadda. You’d be happy if your racehorse had a percentage like that.
  23. Thanks for posting Macca. I heard after the race Trapeze Artist might head to the ‘The Everest’. Anyone hear something similar?
  24. How about ‘WhyTheLongFace’ ? Appropriate for both threads or too gloomy?
