  1. 5 mins to go second quarter. Dogs 6-3-39 Free kicks 25 Norf 2-3-15
  2. We almost had the tri, at least I thought I did until Shillelagh came from the clouds. Very close today fellas.
  3. Call me silly but I can see 3 wins at least in there with their effort last night and a few tweaks. Tough?? Yes....but not impossible.
  4. Not that it would have made a difference but I did speak to mate prior to the race and connections were a bit perplexed why they went with Park as the jockey. They wanted the same apprentice as his first-up run so they could claim down to 51kg.
  5. Terrific win by Nature Strip. Smashed them really. El wasn’t disgraced in that grade, looked like the horse ran 1400m rather than 1100m by the time it took to get to the outside rail. Hopefully he’ll be better for the run.
  6. Don’t bother with him binman. You have a better chance of snagging the quaddie than talk sense into the Doc.
  7. I recall Lewis getting tackled to the ground by Dixon from memory after a mark and nothing.
  8. Was that a fair hit? Haven’t gone back to watch the incident but it looked like he was hit away from the ball.
  9. Shame about last night fellas, we carry on though with the “Best Bets”. Randwick R9 No.1 Bandipur. $2.50. Always a risk backing a horse first-up in the heavy but the horse competed well in stakes level last prep. Trialled well recently, goes well on a heavy track and the wide barrier might be an advantage late in the day.
  10. The only improvement I want to see is one ladder position better than last year. Is that too much to ask?????????????
  11. 6. Viney 5. Brayshaw 4. T Mac 3. Jetta 2. Fritsch 1. Gawn
  12. Did someone post 17-11 our way at half time? That means 19-7 Port in second half. Seems fair, especially when you win the contested ball most of the night.
  13. Doesn’t matter who plays well at Casey tomorrow. Garlett can kick 10 and the usual suspects will bob up to say it was against an amateur side in Coburg. Love it when people suggest Garlett doesn’t do enough in the VFL but we bring guys straight back in without playing VFL.
  14. 3 blokes going out with bleeding from mouth/head in the last quarter. It would have been a miracle to hold on with shite like that going on. Enough umpire comments have been made so I won’t even bother. It just hurts, this game should have been over at half time. Time to play natural footballers, like Petty, Garlett. To those saying Oscar was horrible, WTF? The fifties against him? @ ridiculous. He was in the air both times the Port players marked the ball. What the fluck do you want the guy to do? We dominated just about everything with so many players ineffectual. Oh yeah....Fritsch is special..pity he missed that snap in the last. Gutted....that’s all!
  15. Oh Nicholls! You are an A Grade f$&kwit!!
  16. I work in a liquor distribution centre and don’t finish until 7 or so tonight. How do you think I’m travelling?
  17. Umps in red hot form back then also. Did you just see the free kick against Watts at the end of the 3rd quarter?
  18. Hi all. Trifecta selection. Thought I’d get in early while the mood is good. Tonight will be busy on here. Number 4 Prompt Response $7.00 & $2.70 Last year’s runner-up striving to go one better. Can’t fault her consistency this preparation and is racing extremely well. Adrian Bott stated she’s open to further improvement after the Dane Ripper Stakes and she’s in great shape. Drawn well to gain a spot in the first few and should be in the finish. Tough field is an understatement.
  19. Spargo without getting many touches was very good at crumbing inside 50 and setting up a few goals. If you leave him out I thought Garlett was a must to replace him. Do we maybe see Fritsch spend more time inside 50 tomorrow to play that role?
  20. 25-12 West Coast Make that 26-12
  21. Ok then....start the soccer someone.
