Planet Reality. Do we have a better option if Reiwoldt plays and they have him and Lynch? Then there’s Caddy who plays tall and small well. I’m sure most of us would want to see Hibbo and Fritsch taking key forwards again, not.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Dee Zephyr replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
What do we do with him? Saw him warming up with the midfield group pre game and thought maybe he will play in the middle in spurts. Then I saw him head to the wing and instantly thought he might line up closer to the defensive 50 so he can be the spare in defence after the bounce which is probably his most suitable role but no, he stayed on the wing and was on Newnes early from memory. As mind blowing as seeing Hibbo go to Membrey at the opening bounce. -

Been the mantra for a while now. Numbers, numbers, numbers to the contest. Observation from behind goals in 1st and 3rd quarters. I thought Frost busted his guts and did the work of two defenders yesterday. He often had to cover loose Saints’ forwards and won his fair share of contests inside our defensive 50. Our one dimensional plan of bombing to contests down the wing is a key ingredient to a recipe for disaster. It would work if someone could take a contested mark to at least make the opposition accountable and open up the game a bit. Think back to Tim O’Brien for Hawks against us in 2017 when we had them on toast but he constantly provided an outlet with his contested marking on the wing. When the ball hits the ground you are simply not going to win every contest, but we think we will with most of our half backs/mids sucked in to that loose ground ball. Again like the Dons game the Saints set up beautifully with a couple of loose men in the middle and outer wing. Bang, they win the ball on the wing, switch to the middle and then to the other side and get us on the counter. Frost now, after originally sprinting 50m and winning the ball in the back half now has to sprint another 50m across the arc to cover more loose men while some of our other defenders/wingmen are still plodding back to defensive 50 with hands on hips. I felt for him and wouldn’t have blamed him if he took himself off for a breather. I always thought the lack of switching by us was by design. Not so sure now, the oppo seems so well set up we simply don’t have the options to switch. When an opportunity arises our mids seem to be jogging across the ground, I’d like to think it’s a fitness issue rather than laziness. It was a filthy day yesterday and never have I seen so many supporters leave at 3 quarter time in Round 5 of a season. Don’t blame them really.

For now. In : O Mac, Lockhart, Garlett. Out: Wagners, Spargo O Mac surely gets back in if Jumping Jack plays. Frost to Lynch. At least with O Mac the Richmond talls will be forced to jump to mark the ball. Fritsch and Hibbo are not key defenders. Hore can go to Caddy and try to run off him, Hunt can go back to play on their mozzie fleet.

Yep, the backline was all over the shop like the Dons game. Hibbo went to Membrey in the goal square at the start of the game. Definitely a wtf moment before the ball was even bounced.

Well, that quarter was enough to pump you up for the journey to the G. That was a horror show.

Wow, just Wow! Who needs Game Of Thrones for drama? You can’t script an ending like that in a Quarter- Final second leg. Speechless, Come On You Spurs! VAR, lol!

Demonland Podcast LIVE Tonight (16/4) @ 8:30pm
Dee Zephyr replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Haha, you guys are good, it’s the accidental pressing of the podcast play button in the middle of the night that’s made me jump a few times. Short turnaround after this weekend, do we rest @binman? -
The warning system is a joke for incorrectly setting up 6-6-6. After Gold Coast hit the front with 10 seconds to go they lined up with only one player on a wing. The far wing had no Gold Coast player. What’s the point of giving a team a warning with 10 seconds to go?

Casey Demons v North Melbourne VFL - Round 2
Dee Zephyr replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Are we getting ‘All The Goals’ from Casey games this year? VFL site has a 2 minute highlight package, you wouldn’t think we won by 9 goals though. https://vfl.com.au/highlights-vfl-round-2-2019/ -
Anyone else pumped? It’s been a long lay-off.

In: Garlett Out: Spargo/C Wagner I think it’s Jeffy time. In the JLT and the scratch match against Pies he looked more likely than Spargo to be playing Round 1 until his injury. He was on a club-mandated restriction on his game time in VFL 1 but did show a bit of class when he touched the ball. By all reports he was great yesterday. Look at the way Richmond won yesterday, their small lightning forwards destroyed Port on the rebound and with their forward pressure. If Jeffy can reproduce his defensive efforts that had him the number one pressure forward in 17 or early 18 it could help us get on a roll. He can make something happen from nothing too. Spargo did set up a couple of goals with his low disposal count and isn’t too bad in traffic with his little sidesteps, maybe that will save him ahead of C Wagner although his lack of tackling is a concern. Not sure about the readiness of Jetta and Lewis. Might be best to save them for Richmond. Petty in for OMac if still concussed.

Haha Wadda, lol, if I had half a mil spare I’d build us our own social club to enjoy MFC wins. I did manage to sneak my phone down to the trenches to watch the race. Winx fantastic once again. What more can you say? Hope you fellas had some luck today.

Sign up with Neds Wadda, they have the ‘ Winx Triple The Winnings’ promo. The $1.30 up from $1.10 is very enticing. Would have been nice to have this promo when she won her first Cox at $6. Good luck all, off to paintball for a 13th. I’m going to have some fun today, payback time ?.
