    As much as I would love a predominantly red clash jumper the AFL doesn't consider red a "light" colour, therefore it will never happen.

    It's about light and dark jumpers, that's the policy the AFL and all teams adhere to it (even Collingwood and Essendon).

    Collingwood inverting their colours means they have a "light" clash, Melbourne doing this doesn't. The current white jumper is the best of a bad situation, get over it.

    The cut of the new jumper still isn't great and the arm holes are very Craig Bradley-esque.

    The other thing to remember is having a lot of one type of player means you can easily trade one or two. Especially key forwards which many teams are still crying out for.

    I thought his highlights were impressive and that they have made it clear there is no rush for him to play in 2013. If he gets the number 3 he will look a bit like Garry Lyon.

    We traded picks 20 and 45 for Dawes. Grundy was drafted with pick 18. Collingwood used pick 20 on Broomhead.
