I remember having this argument on here a few years ago when Jim Stynes said before one season that Melbourne "will not" make the finals. I'm a huge Stynes fan but he lost me a bit with that one. I don't care what you say behind closed doors but, externally my belief is that you always say the aim is to play finals, every year. Yes, Jackson is being honest but keep that stuff to yourself and don't try and lower supporter expectations.

With regards to "games" at training, I remember that Bailey did a lot of games at training with a tennis ball when he was coaching. I was a bit skeptical but maybe there was something to it?

Probably not as they would be ordered for all18 teams by the AFL. Plus, I'd imagine the minimum order quantities would be quite high so if a club did want a specific design they would need to commit to a lot of them. I actually bought one of the New Era caps (I rarely buy merchandise) and it's great.

The New Era hats would be organised through the AFL for all teams, Melbourne wouldn't have anything to do with it.

Cleaning up his disposal is the key point, his run and carry looked as good as ever (plus he looks much stronger) but I saw him miss some simple kicks at training the other day.

The issue with Watts has never been playing at the bottom of packs, it's about going when it's your turn which is a prerequisite for all AFL players but something that he does not always do.
