    My point is that there is such group think around the top 10 to 20 players each year, usually based on current rather than future ability.

    I'm not overly excited by his highlights it must be said. However, I wasn't overly excited by Scully's or Fyfe's so it's still very much a lottery.

    With Riewoldt staying for another two years it makes sense to me that they would take McCartin now to play under him. Their young midfield stocks are pretty good.

    The fact that Etihad still has a sub-standard surface is a disgrace. I also don't like the shape of the ground, too skinny.

    It seems cyclical where players get bigger for more inside grunt work then slim down for more outside run depending on what is in fashion.

    I agree, I have no issue with Collingwood's clash jumper. The Richmond clash jumper is far more of a concern.

    I like that the club logo (Emblem) is no longer on the jumper. Clean and simple. Funnily enough the white jumper with the MFC monogram is essentially one of the options we could vote on a few years ago however the Demon on the front won the poll.

    The emblem looks good in high resolution situations, but the basic version of it used on clothes and in some printing is terrible. This is where the monogram is useful.

    Blue numbers would look terrible, need to be white.
