  1. I'm sick of "improvement", I want wins. These are supposed to be AFL players but we treat them like VFL players (yes, they play like it), who have been promoted to try against AFL teams.
  2. I just want everyone to know I'm not watching so I'm not angry. I highly recommend it.
  3. I'm only watching snippets but this is pathetic. That hand pass to a clear Lumumba that missed the target was embarrassing.
  4. "Nothing to play for" and "meaningless" are two different things.
  5. I'd prefer Stretch to be sub.
  6. I loved watching Holmes, he acquitted himself quite well too.
  7. Nick Riewoldt on his own in the forward fifty for over a minute as he didn't unnecessarily push up the ground. No Geelong player went near him and after a quick turnover and long kick Riewoldt took an easy mark and goal. Why do forwards feel the need to push up the ground if they are just going to run back to the forward line anyway?
  8. This again demonstrates why outcome should have no bearing with MRP decisions. Wingard could easily be in a wheelchair right now, extremely lucky to escape without injury.
  9. It's amazing how Port did this called "applying pressure" and look what happens. They rattled Hawthorn from the start who never got going. Pressure requires no skill, experience or football knowledge. It is simply a state of mind, how all times can't do it all the time at AFL level amazes me. Wingard is a genuine star, Hodge deserves four weeks but will get one.
  10. Hawthorn supporters are the least knowledgable about football in the league.
  11. I'm at the game at that kick by Butcher was one of the worst I've ever seen at any level of football.
  12. I know all this, you're missing the point.
  13. Rivers was simply brilliant in 2004, injuries ruined the next few years for him and he lost a lot of his athleticism which hindered his development.
  14. Exactly, and "open to staying" doesn't scream out committed. My guess is his openness to staying with Melbourne depends on how much he would get paid. Either way it's a win-win situation for him because if he doesn't stay he can go back to openly supporting Sydney.
  15. About time. It's the best clash jumper we have had for years.
  16. I agree with this. Viney would probably be top two if he didn't miss through injury.
  17. Depressing that the Bulldogs are back up the ladder after being down the bottom for the fraction of the time we were.
  18. Hawthorn got a late first round pick for Franklin, he's worth two top five picks and a player.
  19. Quick summary for those who can't listen?
  20. "You can't fire me, I quit!"
  21. Hawthorn lost Franklin and picked up Frawley, how have they benefited the most? Free agency was player driven, nothing to do with the AFL wanting to bring it in.
