I love the way he put was able to shepherd ANB's goal through in the last quarter too. -

Plus Waite their big men provided targets all day and allowed them to move the ball quickly. Gawn was out on his feet in the third and got soundly beaten around the ground. -

I love Garlett, but his first touch is often very poor. -

That dropped mark of Garlett's was the turning point for me. The reason it annoys me so much is it was the second easy mark he dropped and it destroyed all our momentum. The team selection on Thursday didn't help, North's forwards did as they pleased. I was happy to give Michie another chance and he did set up Brayshaw's goal but that was about it. Lumumba needs to be dropped, cannot win a hard ball. ANB needs to be played more and Hogan is a star. Best game from Dawes who actually held some marks. -

Post of the year. -
Jones' goal.
-
ANB keeping us alive, two good things already.
-
Shocking free kick to Brown.
-
Cross never looks forward, so frustrating.
-
Kicking long, what a difference it makes.
-
Cross needs to think kick first. Michie set that goal up with his kick to Brayshaw.
-
Garlett's goal.
-
Biggest quarter of the year coming up.
-
Prior opportunity is dead for some umpires but not others.
-
Pressure requires no skill or talent, it's purely if a player can be bothered or not as it is a conscious decision. In the first quarter Melbourne chose not to apply pressure, in the second they did.
-
Viney was very lucky then, he had to kick it the first time.
-
That wasn't out on the full.
-
Harvey could play until he was 50 if he played against us every week.
-
The structure on the ground is deplorable.
-
Game lost last Thursday night?
-
Hogan is lucky the umpire spotted that 50 metre penalty, Melbourne players aren't aware enough of where their mark is and allow the opposition to creep over too often.
-
Why didn't Roos have any forwards forward of the ball then?
-
They are getting cute, need to kick the ball more.
-
Who wrote here that Gawn would get tired and their tall forwards would kill us? They were spot on.
