WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Satyriconhome replied to DemonLad5's topic in Melbourne Demons
So what evidence do you have to say May is the answer, his last couple of years? I don't fawn, and if you treat players with respect you can discuss their game with them, perceived faults and all, you want to try it, you may learn something If one of the journos happens to mention we are interested in a player, you can guarantee a topic very quickly on here with posters extolling their virtues as the second coming As the same time denigrating players already on our list Everyone has an opinion, mine is May is overrated, doesn't mean the FD share that opinion -
Do some actually watch the game, if you kick to the advantage of the tall forward, they will mark it easily If you don't make the intercept defender accountable, they will mark it easily It is not rocket science, and no I can't see many teams 'copying' it, as most teams already have the above, it is whether they are utilised properly

Aaron vandenBerg not going - signs a new deal!!!
Satyriconhome replied to Tony Tea's topic in Melbourne Demons
It's quite simple, we want to keep him but offer 1 year with maybe an option on another, Sydney, like the Saints for Kent, offer a straight 3 year deal, which one would anybody take? A move back to NSW as well -
Your opinion, mine is different, there is some absolute hilarity in the posts in this thread, yours raised a smirk, but you are entitled to the opinion

So a travelling emergency to an Interstate Prelim is a list clogger.....absolutey

Satyriconhome replied to Bleasey as that's topic in Melbourne Demons
No I wasn't at training, work commitment The day before a game training is called the Captain's Run, just get the legs turning over, no contact, and make sure you don't hurt yourself, usually half an hour to 40 minutes I said on Tuesday Hibbo was fine -
