  1. Nasher, appreciate your sentiment on the pissing contest, doesn't particularly bother me that you have deleted my posts, I must admit I used it as an opportunity to point score. I am just constantly surprised by the turning with the wind adopted by some posters, but I suppose that is human nature Dunn was on our list for one reason, he was good enought to be drafted, due to many things it is only now he is reaching his full potential, perhaps he was retained on the list because better judges than the majority of posters on here could see the potential, it just needed maturity, the right circumstances and a lot of hard work
  2. Had his colours lowered by Brendon McCartney who set a game plan to ensure Crameri was one out and had space to lead into, and the Bulldogs players followed it
  3. Posters on here seem to agree that making Jordie McKenzie more rounded by dropping him and getting him to perform other roles is ok, Magner different was he?
  4. I didn't believe what Magner said, is that ok with you, because I didn't hear it from most of the other players, I did hear it from a couple, but they also weren't getting regular games, amazing how that can colour your opinion of coaches................. he had sour grapes, which bit don't you get, same as Moloney Why if I have a differing opinion to the bleaters, yourself included, on here, am i delusional, just because you say it, it doesn't mean it was right, I am entitled to my opinion, if you don't like what I type, quite easy, don't read it and don't reply, although you and a couple of others don't seem to be able to help yourselves Going back to Salem, he has a lot of natural talent, being harnessed correctly, he is two footed, but obviously prefers the left, same as Viney
  5. Oh you mean Magner the guy who didn't have an axe to grind, just like Moloney, give it a rest, move on, the same Magner who wallowed in self satisfaction when Neeld was axed, sank in my estimation from that moment on
  6. No that was a myth created on Demonland to justify certain postings, that's in the past, look forward to the QB
  7. No you are right one of Roh Bail's instructions is to use his running ability, but he has to go both ways, and he has to impact the scoreboard, which he is now doing on a regular basis
  8. Chap, saw a bit of his magic when he was a junior, but Mr Pedersen gave him a valuable couple of seconds with a drive by sheperd, which he utilised
  9. Oh no! the Club has just called him a 'young gun' on it's official Twitter feed
  10. What is everybody going to do when we finally reach the English Premier League standard and change the jumper slightly each season (both home and away), to make money from merchandising, (that is excluding the one off jumpers which we have already had 2 of in the first 11 rounds)... I reckon it is only a couple of years away, (only happens with the sponsors names at the moment). If the name on the back becomes the norm that will open the door because the player managers will make sure the players get a slice and they will want a bigger pie, as in the EPL
  11. He is a bit like Dane Swan in attitude, it is just footy, it's your job so you do it the best you can, hardly watches footy when he isn't playing, prefers to watch soccer
  12. ..of blood that is.....
  13. Can't quote again for some reason, my post was good, you must be a bit precious AF, some on here just bag for baggings sake, go back and read some of the bile from last year Anyway would you like to be referred to as a spud I wouldn't and I would deck anybody that had the guts to do it to my face, which on here they don't As for instructions, one of Roh Bail's is he has to impact the scoreboard, Nev's was to keep it simple in his first couple of games, ie probably just shut his man down
  14. C & B move on, QB game, going to give good account of ourselves hopefully
  15. As far as I can gather talking to people, no he has never considered it, nobody has heard of him being interviewed, think he is happy being a 'teacher' rather than the principal, if he was interested, and with his resume, he would have been snapped up as a senior coach ages ago. When we beat Carlton when Watts' entered the rooms the first thing he did was give Stone a big hug
  16. With one more thing, Nev finally after five years had no post/pre season ops and got through every session in the pre season he had to...showing the benefits of his first full preseason....one of the reasons Rawlings went in to bat for him, knew the talent was there but had never got a proper crack.......
  17. Mono, watch the opening bounce from Saturday's game against Port and see who appears from the right of the screen
  18. No that's what he told me he has to do, you will see Dawes, Frawley and Garland from the other side doing the same thing, perhaps crunch is wrong word, that was my word not his, how about tackle strongly
  19. A comment, it's not as if they are not working, at training they all put in, they have to but Strauss - keeps finding ways of injuring himself, if he could stay injury free who knows Blease - consistency, seems not to be able to put it together week after week, has had one game for Casey (against Northern Blues) where he managed 4 quarters of conistent effort Nicholson - not sure, even misses simple targets by foot at training, can it be fixed? Think the brain gets ahead of the body Tapscott - see Strauss
  20. Agreed if we let their midfield and half back run rampant and kick laces out to Cloke with space to lead into, he will flourish no matter who is on him, we want hurried kicks that he has to snatch at or ground ball
  21. Correct, they have about six dot points (corporate speak) that specify the musts of their role One thing Cam has to do is come of the edge of the square at centre bounces, and nullify the clearance if it comes out of the back if he can, and yes he does love crunching the midfielders, they rotate it so there are always a couple of marking forwards if we get the clearance
  22. My diet hasn't changed surprisingly, amazing results if you don't bag players just for the sake of it The only transformation that Roos has done for a lot of players on the list is between the ears, a full pre season, a specific role with specific instructions, confidence that if you play your role you will stay in the team
  23. Yes but he will probably get up, I walked past whilst they were training last week, there was no sign of him, want to see vision on how he is moving
  24. I personally think Swan is in doubt, he appears to have been carrying something for a few weeks, got the better of him, if it is his heel as reported, they can be a really annoying injury
