I totally agree, but you see them arrive from junior ranks with no other foot of the present group, the only players who look totally at ease are Hogan, Jones, Vince, Salem -

I'll be putting some pics on Instagram later Trac was mainly training with the forward group again today, he is another one that looks better and better each session They had them practicing non preferred goalkicking on the move today, some of the efforts were 'interesting' Of the other 'wounded' both Tommy Mc and Pedo did a lot of the session but no contact work of course Mitch King did bits and pieces, reckons at least another few weeks away from full training Only two in rehab group Mitch Hannan and Luke from the Academy. Melksham Brayshaw and Wagner walked some laps, did a bit of handball and left -

ANB as you know has an issue with his knee in the past, got a hit on exactly the wrong spot, nothing major, that was from Ben Mathews JKH did his finger Jeff Garlett got a belt on the nose Dean Kent tweaked his calf on the run at the beginning Jack Watts just a bit of tightening in the back, had it loosened up, from Jack No Nev Jetta or Col Garland, Melksham, Wagner and Brayshaw on light duties I finally got ask to Weed about his size, put on 4kg now at 94kg, they only want him to play at 95kg, matter of building a rig now, his words First up today 6 min run, Tommy Mc (of course) Hogan then Bugg -

Biff, arrived here Business Class on Singapore Airlines, begged them to let me stay as a political refugee, escaping the impending era of Thatcher, thankfully they relented. Discovered Chiko rolls, Aussie Rules and a mini skirted young female CBA employee in the first few weeks I was here and I was hooked Haven't managed to find a decent pork pie in all the years i have been here, they never get the jelly quite right, closest was in Brisbane Never been a wine man myself, prefer a nice cold McCrackens -

Surely you would add some more greens, then you could have a Parmesan vinaigrette instead, I find when the BBQ is on at Gosch's, a nice little sachet of Worcestershire sauce that I carry with me, gives my sausage that extra lift -

As they say "yeah right", he nearly killed a fence on Monday. I have spoken to both Macca and Goody, if you shirk at training, you shirk in games, it is non-negotiable, any really good fair hit or tackle gets instant praise -

I agree DS, the physicality of the sessions has been a standout, Wednesdays are normally craft days, but there is still a bit of banging bodies, believe the plan for Friday is 'to put on a show for the supporters' so assume it will be more of the same, I hope so anyway, Difference this year is Misso's program has worked it's magic over 3 years and we have men clashing with men, as somebody has already said you do can do an ACL turning too quickly, think they just want to train as they will play I think the pics of Pencil and Hulett wrestling sums up the training, and Kent, trying to bring down Max, if you can stick them here -

Brayshaw was ok, Nev had his toes and sole of his foot taped before training, assumed blisters, didn't see the ankle bit, but after previous injuries he has ankles strapped now, wasn't limping when I spoke to him, told me he was sore from stepping too many teammates ? -

The oldies group was the Bequest group /committee of the Club Wagner has had a grumbly quad Think Nev's issue is blisters, gave me a silly answer when I asked Garlo's strapping is precautionary BenKen's strapping from incident on Friday Excellent reporting of drills again by DSs -

Without being funny, he is exactly how you would expect him to be, everything he does is just professional, today when they were doing match simulation when they swapped over and some players stood watching, he was pointing, coaching, commenting.......when playing he was just Jordan Lewis -

Nut is one of my faves also, giving himself every chance, his kicking is improving every session, particularly the non preferred, looks super fit -

I have put the pics on Instagram, Demonpk, when they were doing the match simulation, when Lewis was on the sideline was always talking, good to hear, Hibberd's left foot is a lethal weapon, couple of missiles through the centre of the ground, into forwards hands eye height -

They both look exactly what they are young developing forwards, lots of work being put into them, they were doing one on one drills and I think the Weed was put against Pencil deliberately, Pencil roughed him up which I think was the plan -
Mr Oliver trained with the main group and completed the 2 and 1/2 hour session, miraculous return to full fitness Lots of the same drills, including a lot of non preferred kicking and lots of one on one battles and it was hot still running on top of the ground at the end Harmes, Jones, Melksham, Bugg, Watts, Hogan and Lewis

It's mainly for the media, I attend all the time. During the season itself they sometimes move to a school ground away from scouts

Agreed but you would lose at least 25 pages of content on here, shame I say, I thin any club would want to see how Fyfe goes in a dozen games before offering the blank cheque

Actually the beard is trimmed I'm afraid to say, and after discovering the brioche at ALDI, the number of pillows required might be lessened , -
The conjecture about his attitude is from a minority on here, which they are entitled to have if they want to, I don't, but then again I have spoken to him face to face 3 times and attended most training sessions ,

From Club Website Oliver, who averaged 19.2 disposals per game in his first season, has had a slow start to this pre-season and has been training with the rehab group as he looks to return his fitness levels to an acceptable standard. So the above is open to interpretation, he has had a slow start because he was crook or he has had a slow start because he came back unfit Jack Trengove has had a slow start to the pre season and has spent 3 or 4 weeks in the rehab group because they have been building the load to his foot gradually or he came back unfit Cam Pedersen has had a slow start to the pre season because he has had a couple of ops and he has spent last 3 weeks in rehab or came back unfit

Melbourne midfield ranked worst in AFL by Champion Data

Good pickup, was going to post myself, on this occasion stats don't reflect the true picture -
The only thing I do find a bit strange that if Oliver had turned up underdone, he would have immiediarely been put in rehab/other group, this was not the case, and when he returned from the couple of sessions off, again this was not the case. Only last week has this occurred when he is doing the extra work. I assume like a couple of others I have spoken to as why they are in the group with no rehab from injury, they are working on part of their running. One of Clarry's 'weaknesses' last year was his engine, perfect opportunity after recovering from being ctrook, some sessions with Crossy If some want to believe he came back underdone, their choice
