  1. Agreed saw that as well, preferred the others on the run
  2. That got annoying to watch (joke), it was great, sprinting through the middle of the ground and banging them through
  3. As for Clarry situation, think the boys know they will get a reaction so they needle him, he gives as good as he gets
  4. Max looked a footballer, he was an accurate goal kicker and had a great leap, just lacked the application methinks, Filipove and Mitch King look to have the application and the skills
  5. Gone are the days of the lumbering ruckman, athletic, moves well, nice neat skills, didn't look out of place JKH was bouncing around the whole session, he is not joking about his increased speed, gone up a notch
  6. I think everybody's these days RTG, there is never any grey with Macca, no he comes over for a chat before the start of each session, always gives myself and a couple of the other regulars something, today was the mental side of the players, he quoted Lewis at a meeting saying as a playing group we were still 'too nice' when it came to driving each other and setting the bar consistently higher
  7. There were players coming and going all session, Dom Tyson and Kent out early walking laps JKH in main group along with Filipovic 3 in rehab ANB King and Hannan Few on light day, Billy Stretch's seemed to consist of leaning on fence chatting to fitness and support staff after a few kicks and handballs no issue
  8. No, think they see him as a half back, so needs to know how to defend, Max and Pencil worked him over big time, was getting the hang of body positioning by the end of the drill
  9. Interesting chat with Macca, mental side still needs work, Lewis driving this, camp was to test players
  10. 2+hours craft session Joel Smith learning bodywork against Maxy and Pencil fun to watch Hogan 25 minutes goalkicking practice Maynard doing stoppage work, bullock Nev putting Clarry on his arse, not impressed Watts and Harmes trying to outdo each other on the marking drill with the bag Watching Macca and Jeff Garlett practicing goal sneak skills
  11. I had a good chat to JKH at training yesterday Has had a miserable run with injury but Macca and others think there is something there, he showed something playing in the middle in last couple of games for Casey So they have started again and rebuilt him from the ground up, particular attention to his core, reckons he has done thousands of those leg weight pushes, not sure of technical term Once they get him on the field, they want him to stay on, bit like Hunt Ran his fastest time ever over 3k the other day and was fast lapping with ANB who is known for his running Also on Monday they were doing those beep test short runs, Watts ANB and others were doing 4 3 and 4 4, JKH was doing 3 3 and 3 4 so assume a full second faster, Watts was impressed and encouraging him He is still very upbeat just wants a crack at it
  12. I thought perhaps you were a player manager testing the waters, albeit one with masochistic tendencies if you are looking at posting 'odd' questions on here Think the attrition going forward will be through contracts not being renewed and delistings
  13. Nah that's cool, just thought the posters knowing that most of the membership staff work 7 days a week during the season with the occasional weekend off, would cut them a bit of slack at Xmas
  14. Staff not allowed a Xmas break CBD? been told unofficially closer to 30000 now
  15. Gee you semi retirement is proving a boon for Demonland, Casey on Friday?
  16. Ok it is a story for Commercial Television 'News', Christian still laughed about it when I chatted to him Looks like Dom's four to six to me was about right
  17. Think it is along the lines of what DeeSpencer said, had a partial dislocation of the knee at the camp before Xmas, no issue with it now so no strapping, but has a quad issue which is what he told me, reporters have been reading it on here as the club has made no mention of the camp on any media
  18. If they treat it like Wagner's, he had a week of walking, then a gradual build up of running, took him 5 weeks to get back into main group which he did today
  19. And as for the brick on the head to Salem, he laughed out loud when I mentioned it to him, a complete non story
  20. Well, apart from me, Deeoldfart was standing next to me, and we both heard him say quad and point to it, I assume that if they sent him for a scan it may have revealed something else, he said he was going for a scan to Wayne. He also told me not to worry as it would be 4 to 6 weeks. And I reported exactly what he said to me and Deeoldfart For a (partially) dislocated kneecap, he has no strapping on it, and is walking quite freely, has no qualms about putting weight on it to kick with his left which he has done a couple of times in both sessions I have watched, so I assume it is not as serious as the reporter made out.
  21. How can you partially dislocate a kneecap? Still concerned it's not strapped, and Tyson walked laps Reporting at it's finest Looks like Dom gave us a slight porky Deeoldfart Unless a scan revealed more
  22. I reckon Tyson to stop all the speculation and maybe Hibberd news or Kent?
  23. He is being coached as a mid, there was a little group at the end with Lewis, Clarry, Stretch, Salem and Viney all doing a bit extra when everybody else had left
  24. He was in the rehab group, as he was leaving I asked him ankle? and he said no head, I said the bang on the jaw from Thursday, yes......they have to have a week of light duties these days after a knock, assume he had slight concussion issue
