  1. If we get charged we get 7 days to respond & I would expect review the evidence. Simple if they've got us covered we negotiate, if the evidence is just subjective or weak then we fight. Time for the Fink to earn his money!
  2. Yes he was great in his only finals series. Could never work out why he retired when he did
  3. This whole scenario has now become high farce
  4. Sorry my bad, always thought forfeiting was when you didn't turn up
  5. As I've said before this practice has been going on since the year dot. It doesn't suddenly become tanking because the AFL introduce a priority pick! Also forfeiting a game would involve not fielding a side, at least thats my understanding of the word. Just more sensationalist terminology
  6. As the biggest witch hunt in AFL history drags on ( how many months has it been now?). Surely they either have enough evidence to charge us and if not they should stop the investigation. They've reinterviewed people, done forensic examinations, if they haven't got sufficient evidence now they never will have!
  7. Wrong: the best players win the ball, but also have high tackle counts
  8. Yes, get ready for the onslaught once the Tippett case is resolved
  9. Absolutely, it only took them weeks to swoop in the Tippett case because they had hard evidence.
  10. Months of investigations, people interviewed, re- interviewed, re-re-interviewed, computers & documents forensically examined, still no charges laid, hopefully they're struggling!
  11. Surely admissions of players in different positions and experimentation cannot in itself be proof of deliberately losing matches. This practise has been going on for my 50 years of watching football particularly with lower clubs , and never an eyebrow even being raised. this has only become an issue through the AFL creating a priority pick, the act itself has never been an issue. Surely they must need more than that to go us for anything?
  12. Perhaps they are struggling to find anything definitive
  13. Just some meanderings of an ageing supporter. In 2009 we had a young side & it was crap, the same scenario that could be applied to many clubs over many past years! And as a lot of those clubs did we threw players around to see if there was anything extra they could bring to the side. In years gone by this tactic would not even have raised an eyebrow, but these days there is an advantage to be had by finishing as low as possible so in the cynical world of todays press we must have tanked. not just done what every other club would have done in the past, go figure. Question: if 2 highly rated sides are playing & 1 finds itself a few goals down at 3/4 time and makes a few positional changes to try and win the game but fails dismally - Is that throwing the game or just bad coaching?
  14. Yes had to ask my son what this meant when I first heard it several years ago ...........gold
  15. IMO the same people that are supplying the AFL with ( greatly embellished) information are also feeding the information on to her
  16. One thing that concerns ADC has been banging on about something much more serious yet to be revealed, seriously hope its just a lot of hot air. Probably something his associates have provided to the press & the AFL. Any clues anyone?
  17. amen!
  18. Something smells funny here, this investigation dragged on for months with no comment from the AFL except it will take as long as it takes. Now all of a sudden we have had almost a new person coming forward each day, all coming from the same source perhaps? Pretty sure its not being leaked by the AFL investigator!
  19. No response to my request ADC , why am I not surprised?
