Was fortunate enough to travel to Darwin amongst the players on the flight. Now being an old codger the thing that stood out to me was how young they all are. It was like travelling with kids on a school excursion. Not their behaviour which was exemplary but just their freshness. With the pressure they come under at such a young age it's no wonder some of them succumb.

If Salem. Hore, Lever and May all come in next week it will be interesting to see how they re jig the side.

What we need are players who actually want the ball in their hands to win the game, not ones who wet the bed when they get the opportunity. Until that happens we'll always lose in these types of finishes.

When you can't perform simple skills like marking unopposed and set shots from dead in front your asking to be beaten. Don't think I've ever seen a game so thrown away. Aside I don't see what playing in Darwin has to do with it.

It was the lack of effort that did it for me today, they were hitting the ball at pace and we were just jogging around chasing tail. Where was last weeks effort? Might as well forfeit next weeks game if thats the best we can bring. Trouble is I've booked to go up.
