Yes, see this is where the draft falls down, once a player enters the draft it's supposed to be open slather for anyone to pick them up, no draft tampering, no refusing to play with certain clubs. But of course the AFL just turns a blind eye.
Thought he showed a fair bit considering he came to the club at the last minute without a proper preseason. He just inevitably ran out of steam in the latter part of the year. He's the one if we don't pick up anyone else.
Very concerned about Weidemans development, or lack of, to the extent that I think that if he improves to the extent everyone was hoping for, it will be a bonus rather than a given. That said I can't see why we're not trying to bolster our key forward options. We will be heavily reliant on T.Mac.
Yes, and look I understand the knock on him but if he can kick 40+ goals for us he can sit in the goal square all day long. How many forwards kick 40+ goals. Of coarse the risk is will he perform to that level, but at the right price it's worth the gamble.
Exactly Nev Jetta is highly regarded on here for good reason. Anyone on here who thinks Elliott is an ordinary player should go back and look at that game.
TBH he has his detractors, and may be the tallest small forward going around but I'd back him to kick more goals than Weideman every day of the week........and by a fair margin.
