  1. Yep i agree. Im still going with house money from our Monkey Business tips. Ill certainly be going each way on our tips as well. Still good odds there.
  2. Eureka is well worth the 1 hour drive and you could possibly do the double and go to Sovereign Hill! Its a $6 entry and a small exhibition, but a lot to see. Always welcome for a beer on the front veranda at Wadda mansion after. Theres even an old shaft in the backyard! Theres not a real lot in Micros race and hoping Bowman can get him in a good spot from gate 11. $6.50 is well......and Alizee is def overs as well and as combinations in wider exotics, all our picks are looking good. I even have a few selections going into the Dees, so heres hoping....
  3. Best Bets: Randwick Race 6 No 2 Microphone $5.50 (Win) Randwick Race 9 No.3 Alizee $8.50 (Win) Caulfield Race 9 No. 13 Thunder Cloud $5.50 (Win) This weeks multi is paying approx 257/1 + depending when and how you put it on. Good luck with that one gang and happy punting!
  4. At least its Red & Blue......(except for the yellow)
  5. I agree, but it seems that Shoals does just that, a lot. Even when fav seems to get a good price. I really like the horse and it can spread wings. Will have a little flutter at those odds for sure. Just went and visited the Eureka Center here in Ballarat. They have the original flag there, its quite awesome to see it. So big. Great museum, recommend.
  6. Elimination Final. (a little earlier than expected) Loser out for the rest of the year.
  7. Christ we got Watts didnt we>? Scully..?? Bit like winning the lottery and the cheque bounces..
  8. Cant hit the side of a barn Adelaide...
  9. Looks like Geelong are just going to free kick their way to September
  10. Best Bet: Randwick Race 6 No 2 Microphone $5.50 (Win)
  11. Really like Widgee Turf @ 7.80 for the place or something. Sort of race youd love to see Winx in, but she would be carrying about 80kg.
  12. Jacobs out for Adelaide, big loss. Geelong.
  13. Sku....the voice of reason. How dare you! (I hope Amsterdam is warming up!) Did they go over the Prelim? It was the last game of the season, so they would start their break pretty much then wouldnt they? A young team that played above themselves in 2 finals, were outmanned and ran out of petrol. There were not 80,000 Melbourne members supporting them. The team they beat there 3 weeks earlier had time to work them out and add missing personal. What is there to review really? Even if they did go over it, its some time before they got back to training and their strategic planning. Im sure the football dept noticed all the errors and hence one thing they did immediately was to try and recruit their way out of the problem, hence Steven May. Im sure everything that went wrong in that final, is now in the notebooks of the football dept. Also saying 4 games in a row is also a pretty long bow. Its 2. JLT games are just practice and the prelim was 6m ago. They dont count. Maybe some people just wont let that loss go. I personally still cant believe we got to a Prelim after losing to StKilda. Dont give up peoples, your all tougher than this.
  14. To be honest i really think you learn more from your successes, rather than your mistakes. They just need to review what they were doing right, then compare it to whats what now perhaps. Thats my take anyway.
  15. Still cant believe all the work that goes into this website. Where do you find the time? Ive looked at some of the other sites, Bomberblitz for example. The are just so bad, boring and drab and you can hardly even read them. Well done @Demonland
  16. Ok got it. Yes the cash outs of late seem smaller than before. I have missed on the last leg something like 5 out of the last 7 multis. So probably need to look at my strategy.
  17. So are you saying take a double as well as a treble? 2 separate bets sort of thing.
  18. Yeah im agreeing with that. An anchor leg (if there is such a thing) and a few slightly more exotic legs and the value is there. I had another strange one on the weekend. Had a 5 leg multi with our selections. The first leg Harlem was scratched and the multi was worth 49/1 (boosted). The subsequent 3 legs got up, going into a football match the next day. Ladbrocks had the pay out listed as 10/1? A quick mathematical calculation said, i still had 17/1. I figured they would slice out the boosted element, which they did, and Harlem of course. But that still left 4 good legs. I made an inquiry and young chap on the phone quickly did the same calculation and said he agreed. He rang his boss and came back with the other races had scratchings in them so the original (fixed) prices were no longer valid. One example was your pick at 4/1 was adjusted to about 2.40. In the end the footy leg (my anchor) was Hawthorn win. In the end i couldnt figure out which was worse, the scratchings or the 8 goals the doggies kicked in the last quarter to come back from 30 pts down at 3/4 time! So the lesson to be learnt is that the price on your multi ticket (where horses are involved) may not be the price you take home at the end of the day.
  19. So nice to wake up to a healthy account balance. Sleep through the matches (except for DZ) so completely stress free bonus. Very good.
  20. Well well.......looks like a good collect for all on this weeks Monkey Business Multi @ 20/1! Here are the scores: Roma 1 - Napoli 4 Eintracht Frankfurt 3 - Stuttgart 0 Nantes 2 - Lille 3 NB: (Lille came back from 2-0 down after 62 min) Congratulations Team MB!!
  21. Thanks Macca and thanks everyone for the picks. I managed to get 20.22 boosted, so ill take that all day long. Good luck team.
