The ball leaves our forward line with such ease often resulting in goals for the other team. Fitness shouldnt be an issue. We've had the longest pre season of all the clubs after such a terrible year last year. If the players werent ready for round one this year they never will be.

All of the above. Not playing four quarters of football is probably the number one problem id say. I dont take any heart from winning a last quarter when 60 points down when the other team has well and truly taken the foot off the gas.

A positive is we have a lot of class players out of the side at the moment. The negative is we havent been able to field a full team now for 3 years under the butcher bohdan so i cant see that changing.

i Dont think anyone will pick him up in a trade. Its just a delist and cut your losses. Onto the luke molan scrap heap. Mistakes are made. He'll be back playing footy in the country on the beer all weekend and wont be hurting anyone but himself then. One of sylvias problem is finding the ball. Ive never known a midfielder to get the ball less than him.

This year i saw us having a poor first start of the year and then coming home strong sorta like the saints and bulldogs did when they came off the bottom after all those years. Though im starting to think if we continue to lose we will get worse not better later in the year. Our last few games of last year were insipid. You can only stay up and about for so long after being flogged week in week out for 3 years. God footy sucks at the moment.

You guys are aware Aussie is injured, tho an injured aussie would almost be better than what we got at the moment.

Im really starting to lose faith in DB too. We just arent improving at all. And he doesnt seem to have any tricks up his sleeve except for time, which will quickly run out if this continues.

I think he should be dropped and bring in Maric. Sylvia is offering nothing at the moment. He needs an extended run in the seconds. If he really wants to play senior football he needs to show the club he has the determination.

Spot on about Petterd. Hes a ball magnet, why is DB chucking him at opposite ends of the ground. He needs to be on wings or flanks. I think he was on tredrea at one stage in the last quarter?

But every week Bailey is saying "we didn't do this, they were better in XYZ area" which is great to explain why we lost but what is he actually doing to fix it? Blighty made a good call last week saying its all well and good to say yeah we are playing the kids, but what is Bailey doing on game days to stop the rot? Something simple like a surprise position change (eg. goddard up forward yesterday).

What do we do? Im almost sure its that he doesn't care enough. Ive always held high hopes but im belatedly off the band wagon. Recruited as a midfielder, has his best 2 pre-seasons and does nothing in the midfield. Also does nothing up forward. I guess he could have a run as a back pocket. If that fails he can become a full time night club bunny.

I think its good for miller to have spent some time being the focal point playing on the best defenders. When watts and (lets be realistic) Butcher come along he's going to make a great 3rd lead up forward that could slip under the guard and kick a few.

Yeah really i dont think we have improved at all from last year. In fact we have even fewer options up forward it seems. We shouldnt have gotten rid of white. I would have understood if we had 3 good ruckmen to get more experience but i dont think any of them have the potential to even come close to him. FOOTY SUCKS!
