I think you're probably right there. Was at St.Kilda Vs Hawthorn Saturday night (guest) and was envious of the Hawthorn supporters' nonchalance / confidence (smugness?) that their team would overcome the challenge. Compare that to Sunday afternoon, where for long moments I'd forgotten to breathe!

He set us up to have possession in a part of the ground where we had options to go down the line, middle, or switch. Sadly, Max and Angus got in each others way and stuffed it up.

Now just wait a minute. This thread is based on a falsehood , it was much longer than a minute to go. When Lewis kicked that we were 8 points behind, with 4 minutes on the clock. He kicked it to near the 50 meter arc in the direction of the point of the centre square - a good place to attack from. Gawn and Brayshaw got in each others way and messed it up. Lewis took the right option and executed his kick well.
