Farewell Jesse Hogan
Yeah, nah. Once you're out of the race for first, it's all over:

Dylan Shiel
Storm now in the race for Shiel; a replacement for Billy Slater?
-
Rumour File
It would be a huge statement. He’d have to be very very unhappy to make that sort of a move; club legend.

Rumour File
So many possible responses to that come to mind; all inappropriate.

The Honeybadger as a category B rookie? Fast, strong, record number of disposals!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Update via AFL website - Magpie gets two Moore years, Langon close. Moore staying at Collingwood could help our bargaining position with GCS.

Farewell Dom Tyson
Agree with what @Jaded said. Tyson is a valuable player as an inside mid, but for us that position is currently well covered; playing him on the wing this year did neither the team nor Dom much favour. He could go on to carve out a very respectable career at St.Kilda / Essendon / Carlton.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Not against it either. We have a strong young talent base - much of it 23 and under. So, whereas most premiership windows may typically last 3 to 5 years, ours could remain open for 6 to 8 years. Therefore any really high-quality draftee could meaningfully contribute (after 1-2 years development) for the bulk of this window. However if the trade-week machinations meant we could get Josh Kelly, then grab him!

Oktoberfest finishes on the 7th, he better get his skates on!

#freekickeagles giving #freekickhawthorn a run for its money.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
However, should he end up playing for a Perth based club, then every second week he’d be guaranteed plenty of goals.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Pretty sure he's playing sore. Anyway, this thread's discussion may be better served by ignoring yesterday's horror show.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Whether you agree or disagree with the OP, this is a scenario that deserves discussion. I believe our squad lacks both the leg-speed and the polish to perform deep into September. How do we get it? Maybe, just maybe, we can snag Gaff as a RFA. Or a Hall type. Otherwise we're going to have to trade for the picks that can then be on-traded for ready-made players with the attributes we need to balance our list. Whose got currency? Hogan. You'd want a lot in return, but he's not untouchable.

Andrew Gaff
That’s the spirit. Get the job done!

Jordan Clark
Look, to be fair, not everyone follows the junior cricket development pathways.
-
The Need for Outside Midfielders
Why is he persona non grata at the suns?
-
Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
I thought Lewis was good in the first half, but went to water in pressure situations during the second half. cue ‘give him a spray’ jokes...

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
They had a gentle dig at ours on their banner last week. Maybe next time ours should say... ”jokes about skiing, you may continue to bleat. But you’ll always be known as scumbag drug cheats”

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
I blame society.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
A pipe-dream I know, but wouldn’t it be great if the end result of all this was a new regime who acted in the best interests of the game, the players, and the grassroots communities that support it.

Retro gear
Those time-travelling Liverpudlian bastards copied us?

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Probably a reaction to the AIDS television advertising prevalent at the time. Even Clive Lloyd started using 3 rubbers on his batting handle.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
And as for proposing to your girlfriend whilst at altitude in first class...there’s only one direction you can go from there! However I wish them all the best!

Ever considered changing your avatar to “outlier”?

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Surely in the interests of diversity and heterogeneity within the playing group there is room for an insanely talented but curmudgeonly KPB?
