2020 Assistant Coach Prospects: The Next Batch
He's Geelong's backline coach. That unit outperforms their individual quality.

Phantom Drafts
I'll stick my neck out and agree here as well.

Jack Watts - letโs get him back
Wouldn't want Jack back on the field in red and blue, but would love to have him back around the club when he's hung the boots up.

2020 Assistant Coach Prospects: The Next Batch
Throw all the $$$ at Matty Scarlett. Fat chance he'd even consider leaving Geelong, but getting him would go a long way to helping us with our defensive issues.

Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
It says in the below article that he can, but from what I've seen I'd rather he just focused on being as damaging as possible forward. In the few times I've seen him, he's one of those small forwards that looks dangerous whenever they're near the ball. https://www.afl.com.au/news/2019-08-01/selling-cows-wish-chips-and-the-tiger-mentoring-top-draft-prospect

Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
Point is he doesn't look undersized, like Spargo. The comparison makes no sense. I agree with everything Dazzle has said. He's exactly the sort of player we should be looking at, especially if we can trade down.

Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
Waaayyyy faster than Spargo, kicks goals, and isn't as short. They both have blonde hair though?

Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
It's a strength of his, no problems there.

Jones Re-Signs for 2020
I think there are a few that'd be dropped before Jonesy for those guys. Chandler isn't even close.

Jones Re-Signs for 2020
Who do you have taking his spot?

Garry Lyon
Nothing. Just doing his job well.

2019 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I was at the last two rounds of the championship. He looked great in both games. One of those small forwards that give you the feeling something is going to happen whenever they're near the ball. Knows how to find the goals, is really clean and applies great pressure. It goes without saying he's the sort of player we need in our forward line. No idea where he's projected to be drafted.

2019 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Keeping my eye on Ash, Gould, Flanders, Serong and Stephens of those listed. It was my first time watching most of these guys on Friday, however I though Green looked the best of the lot.
-
Will Gould (Drafted by Sydney)
This guy is an animal. Put on a clinic today. He's more Shannon Hurn than Jeremy McGovern though.

Will Gould (Drafted by Sydney)
Noticed him in last year's carnival. He's hard to miss! Was the standout KP player on the ground vs Vic Metro.

CASEY: Rd 10 vs Collingwood VFL
To regular Casey watchers, is this Lefau kid a draft chance? Only caught the last quarter but man he has some toe.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Wanna bet? $20 says May is a Demon this time tomorrow.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Sam McClure. Ignore.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
We'll get 2 first round picks for Hogan. That would be about right in my view. May is worth pick 5 to us, at this point in the side's development. You draft kids with high picks in the hope they will get you to this point, high picks are of less value now we are here. Players that fill immediate weak points in our team are worth more than just about any draft pick.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
You'd wait a year, in our premiership window, because you're unwilling to part ways with a draft pick that will almost certainly not have a dramatic impact on our side in the next 3 years? Personally I'd just get it done if he wants to play for us.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
GC won't cop pick 11 for Steven May, nor should they. Pick 5 is a good result for all parties. Get it done!
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
I'm baffled that there are fans who would be hesitant to give pick 5 for May. Our list is nearly in the contender sweet spot, there is no potential draftee that will help us win a flag more than May over the next 3 years. Even if there was, you are no guarantee to get them in what is almost a lucky draw anyway.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
If that plays out, you take Rankine and run. The guy would walk into our best 22, he's the most AFL ready player in this draft.

Welcome to Demonland Toby Bedford
Didn't realise he was an academy option for us. I was at the game on Friday and thought he looked a player. Hard, fast and skilled. Busted his ass to apply pressure all game. Big yes from me.
