Big mistake from my perspective. I really rate Menzel from what I've seen of him and would never contemplate trading him in exchange for a fringe player and a 2nd round pick in a draft weak in depth.

On the topic of other trades: Rosa has been traded to the Gold Coast in exchange for pick 31 Menzel (Carl) has been traded to the Crows for Kerridge and pick 28.

This years draft has now become slightly more interesting.

So at this stage, Parish is looking likely at pick 3. Any ideas towards who pick 10 is intended for?

Through comparing Toumpas' and Kennedy's highlights, Ben easily looks the far better player. He has pace, can kick goals and isn't afraid to put his head over the football. Looking forward to seeing him in the red and the blue next year.

Was always one of the first to go missing when the heat was on. I'll miss his freakish marking ability, but that's about it.

Signed a new contract a few months back. Even so, I haven't seen too much of him that's impressed me since he debuted. One to revisit in a few years in my opinion.

From today's AFL trade wrap: GWS' Tomas Bugg remains on track to join the Demons, with the club expected to use a third round pick for the 22-year-old, who has performed well in 65 games with the Giants. I'd be happy with pick 50 for Bugg.
