I'm a Jeffo believer but Kentfield showed much more yesterday.

I didn't mind JVR's game. Didn't set the world on fire, but he worked up the ground a fair bit and was involved in quite a few goals. If he keeps showing that work rate every week, the rewards will come.

I'm not saying our midfield/forward connection has magically been fixed in the off-season, but how good was it to see our midfielders actually LOWERING THEIR EYES when kicking inside 50 instead of bombing it long.

Love or hate our recruiting department and their track record over the last few seasons, I think they've nailed our approach to this. Langford, Lindsay, Windsor, Tholstrup and now Latrelle and Taylor. Plus we'll have at least another two first rounders to play with at the end of this season.

What are the odds of Howes getting a round 1 gig? I think he's been really good today playing as a winger. Meanwhile, Sharp kicks a goal in this weird two-minute scenario thing.

Jeffo mostly unsighted sadly. Kolt had some iffy moments early but has been ok since. Took a nice contested mark and goaled earlier in the quarter.

Does all the little things well. Doesn't get flustered. Langford might end up the more dynamic player and more of a 'match winner', but players like Lindsay are worth their weight in gold.
