Though I'm sure Grundy is a gun player, I don't see him fitting into our lineup considering most of our forward line can play in the ruck (Clark, Dawes & Pederson). Also, with our key ruckman (Jamar) and young developing ruckman (Gawn, Spencer) I can't see we'll pick him up in the draft even if Wines goes to GWS. Although I do know we'll go with the best selection possible.

Though its sad to see a lot of these players go, most of them would not be in our best 22.

No matter what would've done there will always be someone who thinks we've made the wrong choices. However, it's their opinion and we can choose for ourselves whether we agree or not. I'm happy this years trade period, we've brought in players who have had plenty of experience (Rodan, Byrnes, Dawes). Whether they play 5 games or all 22 is irrelevant. It's the experience they bring to the group that's important. Youngsters Viney and Hogan should be welcome inclusions for our team and we still have pick 4 to land another young gun. Losing players like Martin, Rivers and Gysberts was disappointing but I wish them luck and success with their future endeavours (unless they play against Melbourne!) Bring on 2013!!!

Also, does this mean the Pederson deal is off?

We've just recruited Jack Viney to the club but he isn't the only son of a gun going around. Billy Stretch, son of former Melbourne player Steven Stretch and is determined to follow his fathers footsteps and play AFL football, targeting the dees as his prime location. Will Melbourne play Hogan in the Nab Cup like how Gold Coast played Jaeger O Meara this year?

Haven't heard about 7 replaying it. I do know that 7 mate have replayed it a couple times but I think your best bet would to be to watch it online.

It's a good question actually. I don't think we would be on the hunt for players unless we had an idea of who would be delisted. So expect possible delistngs in the coming weeks.
