Neeld has certainly showed some confidence in Strauss by offering a two year contract and must see him as part of the future. Hopefully Straussy will get some games next year and play some good footy

I haven't been following this whole tanking saga lately but do know that if we are confirmed tanking by the AFL we could lose pick 4 and 26 (Viney). I could only imagine the reaction if we lost Viney but considering we have already reserved pick 26 for him I'm not sure if the AFL can take him any from us. Thoughts?

Apparently the contract talks with Dunny and Jmac are going well along with a group of other players. "discussions on new contracts have progressed well with a number of players who remain on the list, including free agent Lynden Dunn and 28-year-old Joel MacDonald." Expect resignings soon.

Think he's still overseas. Should be back in a couple weeks along with Byrnes who is also still on holiday and Jamar who is currently on his honeymoon.
